A witch is basically a birth defect. Their "mutations" can be used to their advantage, but often times take up a lot of their magic and energy. Some witches get lucky, but for instance, conjuring up a dead body can exhaust or even k:ll a witch. Any witch who hasn't found a lifelong soulmate by the age of 23 is granted a familiar, which I will explain in a later post. #cascadia
