-I've altered the name of the matriarch (or in this rare case, patriarch. X3 Since, y'know, he's a dude. XD) to the effect of Amaulriq due to his former name sounding too similar to a certain somewhat recent orca character of mine, Araumi. Amauri will remain in the pod name and will serve as a nickname of sorts. All pod members are to address him as 'Amauri-san'. <X'D JK Leader/Patriarch will do just fine, or, if your character is close to him in some way, you may (occasionally) call him by the former nickname. Not Amauri-san, of course. X'DD The one lacking the respectful Japanese suffix.

(Ceta) Don't worry: I've gotten some decent sleep. XD I'll try my best to get more, especially since I have school. It's just quieter at this hour, which makes it easier to think. And my 3DS doesn't properly connect to Colors! server when I use it during lunch at school.

Since this RP takes place in the Southern Hemisphere, the subspecies M. n. australis (Southern humpback) is preferred. They are distinctive from the other two subspecies in that their flanks have more white and their pectoral fins are mostly black dorsally (on top). While fluke type isn't necessarily definitive of subspecies, the majority of South Hemisphere individuals' are mostly type Z (the underside of their flukes, or caudal fin, or tail, are abundantly white: over 60 percent). The South Pacific stock migrates to Hawaii or the Kingdom of Tonga, and therefore makes the southern subspecies one of the most closely studied, so it'll be easy learn about typical behaviors and to search for references regarding markings. If you've any other questions regarding cetaceans or what they even are, ask me or do a bit of your own research, if you have the time.

Yeah, I figured we were both central time! Alright, so I think it's settled. :3 The RP will probably be Friday evening at 4 or 5 PM CDT . For Monomo, that'll be an hour ahead and for Ceta that'll be an hour behind.
