Backstory: Maelstrom was born into a family of High Nobility in the Chrysos tribe. He had always had a fascination with machinery, and he taught himself how to build robotic machines as a fledgling (teen). Shortly before the war between the two tribes, Maelstrom discovered that he had a small amount of rare magic, which allowed him to bring the machines he created to life. When the leaders of the Chrysos army learned of his strange abilities, they asked him to construct and animate war machines for the rising war against the Aquilam tribe. Maelstrom agreed to their request and joined the war as both a mechanic and warrior.

Some time during the war, Maelstrom entered a battle with some of his robotic dragons against the Aquilam tribe, but theenemies soon discovered that their much more powerful magic could cause his inventions to self-destruct on the battlefield. The explosions took out many of the Chrysos soldiers and badly injured Maelstrom. After that battle, the leaders of the armies decided to exile him from Chrysos for the deaths of their soldiers, so he hurriedly built himself simple prosthetics and fled the tribe to a mountain cave just outside the border. It was
in these caves that Maelstrom discovered a gold that could be melted only once in its existence, so he forged himself a finer, indestructable body, which he then enchanted to move cooperatively like real limbs, so that he would never fry or malfunction.

However, during his time in exile, Maelstrom's anger towards the Chrysos leaders began to fall on the Aquilam tribe, and he plotted revenge on them for ruining his life. He forged an army of stronger, more improved mechanical dragons with the gold he had found and stored them away in a hidden cavern. Afterwards, he snuck back into Chrysos territory to search for dragons who may want to join him in his reprisal.

Honestly I surprised myself with how good that ref was. I haven't drawn a lot of dragons lately...
If I do draw one it's in my sketchbook. But I'm wondering if I should draw them more often.. I probably will even though it always takes me 2 or more hours xD

Honestly, I used to draw dragons a lot on my old account. But those dragons were really bad so I'm not exactly sure how I got so good suddenly. I think it might be because I watch your playback xD

RE: My sister draws sometimes since the last two years. But she did not make more than a few drawings but a lot sketches she always throws away Q^Q. She is not really into drawing but i try to encuorage her to draw more becouse her art is so adorable. ^-^
