This is my version of the mermaid. I've developed them a lot (been tinkering with them for over five years) so I could talk your screen off. But for now, all i'm gonna tell you is that they have retractible scales all over their bodies that the can control individualy, and that their scale color mirrors their personality.

P.S. Technically this painting is upside down, but I like it better this way.
