I think the reasoning for Mother 3 not going to the Wii is because the innuendos, vulgar language, etc. in the game. I feel like America wouldn't handle the game as well as Japan did.

Re: GTA is made by Rockstar, not Nintendo. It's as simple as that. Nintendo has a reputation for being kid-friendly. Sure, they could mark the game up as 13+, but then they'd lose some of their previously had demographic.
