Misplaced in Space: Ballad of the Galactic Super Guy, Space. It's big and mysterious. And mostly unexplored, especially in the case of mankind. By the year 3870, the human race had explored the vast majority of their solar system, and had become bored with knowing nearly everything about it. They had the technology to travel beyond, but most people were pansies and didn't want to risk getting kilIed by God knows what. Except for the Intrasol Corporation.

Intrasol believed in the endless opportunities waiting in the universe, and weren't afraid of the danger. However, they were afraid of losing money should any of their ventures fail, so they had to think frugally. Enter Frank Benas, a interplanetary explorer of pudgy proportions, and a man of few words. Intersol hired him to venture beyond the stars, and he agreed to take on such a dangerous task for no less than 14.75 USD (plus tip).

Travelling far away of the Milky Way galaxy, Frank felt he was being watched by something, and left his ship, armed only with a dinky little laser pistol, to investigate. Soon after, his ship went kablooie, and he was attacked by a large number of weird monsters. Should he find the pieces of his demolished ship, Frank can return home, but he will have to beat innumerable quantities of aliens. That ain't likely, though, no way no how.
