Toren tossed in his sleep, blurry images of fire and panic running through his mind. In a jolt Toren sat up with a shout, sweat drpped down his face and onto the sand. Slowly he looked around, finding it was only a dream. He pinched the bridge of his nose and tried to clear his thoughts and calm his strained breathing.

(Welp I guess im not RPing today, so I guess I'll see you all next week )

Raven stared into the fire with an emotionless expression, his arms unconciously hugging his front-most legs. So much had happened in the past day that he hadn't had the chance to sit down and clear his mind. The realization that he was trapped on an island finally caught up with him, and he rested his chin on his knees with a sigh. //If we never find a way off this island, then we'll all be stuck together for the rest of our lives,// Raven thought in dread. His train of thought was broken off when the horned man suddenly jerked upright with a strangled shout.

(Aww, that's a bummer, @pedro! I hope you can make it next week then!)

As Toren reflected on his dream he clenched his chest where the jem was hidden beneith his jacket. His breathing had become more normal now, but the memories of his past would never leave him. He gave out a shakey sigh and rubbed the back of his head, staring at his sword that lay next to him.

Sirius had eaten up and was sleeping outside near the fire while in his feral form. He was dreaming about how the rest of the world is like, hopefully better than Escade.

( @Fade, well, im hooeing we can find a way off the island within this one or next weeks)

Malakai sat there gasping for breath, his heart ached from the nightmare...

(hoping, wow my spelling sucks today)

(Okay! Now the question is: how do we get off? XD)

(Lol, it's fine XD)

(Don't forget Sirius still needs his eye
he needs that depth perception)

(Oh yeah, Sirius' eye... XD)

Fiacail had settled in the central fort, where he had dozed off for the night. He regretted forgetting to inform his fellow sheltermates that he occasionally mumbled whilst slumbering. He slept deeply, having given in to the sudden soreness that served reminder of the intense length of the day. In his subconcious, there was a faint blue light as a vague dream, or rather, a memory, commenced soonafter. Blurry images and figures reeled in his mind, and a muffled, echoing voice that he only barely recognized shouted something indistinctively. The shapeshifter felt a dizzying motion as though he were being carried in a rush. His ears were filled with a high-pitched, monotonous ringing.Just when he felt his stomach start churn, he was finally laid down in relative darkness save for a light eclipsing the figure of a tall man whom he surmised had been the one who'd transported him. Fiacail felt helplessly as the towering silhouette turned and hurried through the radiant portal, the boy

(we could use a raft, and if all else fails i suppose Toren could shift and fly them off, although he would probably rather die than expose himself)

(Or one of the winged shapeshifters could find a ship and lead it there?)

(yeah Malakai is only a foot tall in his falcon form..hehe i doubt Toren could carry the others thatt's a lot of weight xD)

Sirius woke up. He never required much sleep to be energized through the day. He decided to run off to the beach and enjoy the night breeze, even with the possibility of danger.

(Malakai can fly everyone if we use pokemon logic :Y)

( @Hybrid, true, but he is a dragon, he could probs carry at least 3 of em.)

Malakai lowered his arm, sitting up he brushed sand off himself. "We need to get off this island sooner rather than later" he mumbled to himself.

(poor Dorian lol)

Toren decided lay nack down on the sand stared up at the night sky. The sun would probably rise within the next hour or so, but he couldnt bring himself to sleep more. Instead he just let his thoughts wander.

Sirius, still in feral form, was wandering at the beach: hoping to find his lost eyeball, and also ready for action if needed. A soft breeze was present, making his scarf flow with the wind.

(If only Sirius had bigger pockets, then everyone can go into his pockets and they could all get carried by a flyer while that person wears the poncho)

Malakai got to his feet and stretched his arms above his head, yawning he let them swing back down to his sides. Glancing towards the forest he groaned, there'd be a lot of manual labor involved in getting off this island. Then it hit him ///I could just fly off the island/// guilt struck him as he realized that meant leaving everyone behind...

Although Raven prefered to stay awake during the night, he decided to get a little bit of sleep before the sun appeared, so he rose to his feet and made his way over to the shelter. After all, without any sleep, he would not receive the company that he was stuck with very well.
Barely anybody was using the makeshift fort, and he briefly wondered if creating it was a waste of time and energy. Shrugging the thought off, Raven crouched down, rolled onto his back, and rested his head on his arms. In a few moments, he was sleeping lightly.

Sirius decided to once again search for his eye. He shifted back into humanoid form and covered his eye to see through the missing eye. It was no where near the beach, or the shelter, it seemed to be near... another camp? He was curious as to what he was seeing.

As Malakai was staring off into space a familiar scent drifted over him ///Sirius?// he looked towards the beach, Sirius' scent lead away from everyone. "Hmm" Malakai walked away from the fire towards Sirius' scent...

(haha right! poor @Adara left with the dead guy!)

Toren grumbled to himself stressfully from not being able to sleep. He got to his feet and dusted the sand off his shethed sword and tossed it over his shoulder. He then briskly wandered away from camp. /If i cant sleep, i may as well train/ He thought. /ill find a nice private area to practice wity my sword and fire, then hopefully we can build a raft or flag down a ship once the sun is up.//

(Four people could fly off the island if they wanted to... it's a good thing that Raven can't fly, because if he could, he would have been gone by now XD)

Sirius sat on the ground, observing through his other eye. Looking at every detail it could capture: there was what looked like a dead body nearby, the ashes of a camp fire, and what looked like a large club laying on the ground, the eye wasn't on the ground, but instead on top of... something.

(Everybody has split off into groups of two... XD)

thrust his hand in said man's direction in a futile attempt to halt him. He heard as though distantly the sound of his own voice crying out, but to no avail. The radiant archway dimmed and faded out of existence, leaving Fiacail to panic in total darkness. He felt himself scream, but stopped when he heard the sound dissolve into a melody of surging waves, though he still saw nothing but the expanse of absolute shade. Then, in the midst of the ocean of sound came some clicks and whistles rather familiar to him. His cetacean family! Next, and most curiously reassuring of all, however, came both Ngaio's voice as well as his biological mother's, melded as one: "Fiacail, my child/land calf... He is here... In this world...searching for..." He failed to comprehend the final, perhaps most crucial word as a light once again blinded him, this time forcing him into consciousness.

(Aah, sorry I took so long! XC)

Malakai was trotting down the beach, running was making him occasionally stumble in the sand, so he settled for a fast trot. He then noticed Sirius and calmly walked up to him..

//This place looks alright// Toren viewed his surroundings, doubble checking to make sure he was far enough from the campsite so they wouldnt see the light in the distance. Once he was sure he was alone, he dragged a few large branches from the edge of the forest and stuck them into the sand vertically for target practice. He then drew his longsword from the sheith and prepared his stance. He swung it a few times in practice, and then took a deap breath, and lit the edge of his sword in a light blue fire.

Sirius heard the nearby footsteps and didn't take notice to a tree branch above his head as he jolted getting up. He hit his head and was knocked out.
(I guess i'll finish off here, I have to finish getting ready and I atleast set up exposition for sonething while also providing some comic relief, bye everybody!)

Malakai stepped back in suprise as Sirius jumped up and hit his head knocking himself out. //Great// Malakai sighed, walking over to the now uunconsious Sirius he picked him up gently wiith his teeth and swung him over his back. He turned around and started to walk back when he couldn't help but notice something round half buried in the sand. He cocked his head to one side //what is that?//

Toren steadied his breath and focused on nothing but his awareness of the blade he weilded. Swoosh, he began to swing it quickly, trading it between his left hand, right hand, or both. His footwork he kept light and agile, barely disturbing the sand at his feet, and the only sound that was made was the swing of the blade as it cut the air and the rythmical steading breathing of Toren. The flames along the blades sharpened edge left a trail of light through the darness as the sword moved. In a upward horizontal strike Toren spined around and sliced one of the branches clean in half, simultaniously lighting it on fire.

Malakai pawed the round item and noticed it was just some childs toy, shaking his head, he proceeded to walk back towards their camp, carefully so Sirius wouldn't fall off....

(Toren, you big show-off... XD)

Fiacail awoke in cold perspiration, dull shafts of morning light streaming through the gaps in the palm frond roof overhead. After the thrumming in his chest subsided, he rubbed his temples and propped himself up. /Whatever on the face of the earth was that about?/ He glanced beside him and saw Raven, a spider centaur, sleeping just a couple of meters or so away.

As he slowly walked back to the camp, he could just make out a faint light ahead //I didn't think we went that far// he huffed and turned to nose Sirius making sure he was still alive after cracking his head on ths branch like that. He heard Sirius' faint breathing and sighed with relief...

Movement beside Raven aroused him from his light sleep, and he opened his eyes just enough to see Fiacail blinking at him. //It's just him,// he thought boredly before directing his gaze to the leafy roof of the shelter.

He mildly envied the boy's apparently more placid dozing. /Ah well.../ he concluded. /In the meantime, I suppose I should see how everyone else is faring.../ After stretching, he rose to his feet and made his way outside the fort, only realizing then how unkempt his hair was.

He figured that matter could be tended to later, but changed his mind when he spotted Adara still at camp and did the best he could to make himself at least...presentable.

Malakai could make out the camp now, no one was sitting by the fire anymore. He snorted and looked around, he noticed Raven sleeping in one of the tents and Adara in the one beside it. He then noticed a man sitting there beside Raven. He grunted in his direction trying to get his attention..

(snoop snoop mothertrucker LOLOLOL just died laughing hahaha!)

/Alright, time to pic up the pace!/ Toren drew his sword back with his right hand and dashed forward to anoth branch, stabbing it forward and then swinging the firey blade over his head and turning to cut the last one. He was breathing a little harder now, and the sun was on its way up. Toren swung his blade around and then sheithed it, the flames sparking a bit before going out as it was sheithed. he sighed. /Alright... thats good enough for now./ he had worked up a slight sweat, and so decided to splash it off in the cool ocean water. he walked past the broken singed branches on the sand and took off his jacket and sword, quilckly kneeling by the oceans and splashing himself off.

(im also really slow so no worries! haha)

After closing his eyes for a moment longer yet unable to fall back asleep, Raven rolled off of his back and propped himself up on eight spider legs before heading outside of the shelter. The light of dawn was slowly bringing color to the remote island, even though the sun had still not shown itself. After stretching, Raven crept over to the now cold firepit and began to place wood and sticks in it.

Toren had made sure to keep the gem in his chest hidden , even without is jacket on, he blocked its view with his arms or hands. After he had cooled off he grabed his jacket and slipped it back over his head, adjusting the straps and making sure his gem was once again hidden.
(haha toren would probably dash over and grab him by the colar instincively, hopefully he wouldnt kill him if he saw anything lol!)

(Oh, was Malakai trying to get Raven's attention? I thought he was directing it to Fiacail... O.O)

(I doubt he would be able to resist killing Dorian... XD)

(Yeeah he is trying to get Fiacial's but Raven just walked by a gaint jet black wolf like he wasn't there haha!)

The smitten lad waved back, but noticing abruptly the absence of the majority of the others, Fiacail called out,"Miss Adara! Pardon my asking, but have you any clue as to where the others have diverged?"

(Let's just say Raven's not a morning person XD)

A black object in the corner of Raven's eye caught his attention as he was rebuilding the fire, and he glanced over to see the same black wolf that he had pinned down in the jungle. //Wasn't that the trouble-maker who ran off alone?// he thought. Suddenly cold, Raven huffed and turned back to the firepit, intentionally ignoring the massive canine.

(R.I.P. Dorian... XD)

(TO FAT TO SIT ON A BRANCH lol)

SNAP! Torens eyes turned slit as he wheeled around on instinct, dashing towards the noise. Instantly he recognized the back of Dorian and grabed his shoulders, picking him up easily due to his dragon strength and adrenaline and spinning him around, slamming him back against a tree, Torens arm accross his colar bone. "What did you see!" He growled loudly
(unncertain as to wether dorians face is showing or only partially showing.)

Malakai supressed a growl as he noticed Raven deliberately ignore him. He trotted over to the man he was trying to get the attention of and stopped infront of him blocking his path, the unconsious Sirius still on his back...

(I'm just here stalking the rp on my phone seeing things unfold and smiling as I read, also if you guys want the rp to progress with conflict you can always continue to the thing Sirius saw, also I love how Raven ignored not only Malakai but the knocked out Sirius on his back)

Fiacail followed her gaze to the slate-gray sky above. /Curses. It could rain anytime soon. I can't let her see me like...that.../ He thought with dread. His anthropormorphic form took hold whenever water touched his skin. But... he knew not when he'd have the chance to speak to her in this manner again. "Then I suppose I shall remain here for the time being. Though how are we to cook firstmeal if it rains?"

( @Raksha, ahh let me add to my last then)
..."What did you see!" Toren Growled loudly at Dorian before a wave of suprize came over his face. Dorians mask... was no longer there. Instead, in its place was the sharp face of a harpy.

(Oooh, Toren's snapped! OuO *grabs popcorn*)

(Aww, see ya Kole! It was great to have you for at least a while!)

"You're...You're not an elf..." Toren studied Dorians face, rage still consuming him inside, yet suprize and curiosity began to emerge. He shook of his thoughts and groweled again, bearing his teeth. "Who are you, really?"

//A...Harpy?// Toren thought, /i thought that there were none left...// Toren huffed, pressing Dorian a bit harder into the tree "and what exactly did you see?" Toren asked. he had quelled his rage slightly, and was curious about this 'harpy', but if he had was cautious, and if Dorian couldnt be trusted with what he saw, Toren would make sure that there would be no harpies left.

"Oh, goodness!" Fiacail almost fell backwards upon seeing the massive Malakai-wolf from before. "You nearly scared the daylights out of me!" He shook off his momentary fright. "Nonetheless... Good morning Malakai. Did you wish to see me?"

( @Blood Hybrid Sorry I took so long! :O Let's just say Fiacail had a... very late reaction! XD)

Malakai looked Fiacial in the face and jerked his head towards Sirius. He repeated the motion a few times before walking away, leaving Sirius' care to Fiacial

Malakai approached his clothing, still folded neatly with his boots right beside them, and was about to change when he heard faint angry growls coming from the forest. Curiosity sparked in his heart, but he didn't want to go in the forest as such a massive target for whatever/whoever was so angry...

Instead of going to investigate Malakai lied down, resting his head on his paws he gazed into the forest.

//The first time??// Toren raised an eyebrow, confused by this comment. Toren saw fear race accross Dorians face, and his grip loosed a bit. He pittied the sobbing Dorian, but somehow his sufferings brought back memmories of his own past. "Tisk," Toren let Dorian fall to the ground as he released him. "I dont know what your talking about this 'first time' for, but i guarentee im not like any of those you've met before." Toren looked down on Dorian "as long as you say nothing, 'Harpy', then your not worth killing." Toren turned around and picked up his blade from off the sands throwing it over his shoulder, still keeping an eye on Dorian.

(I know he wants to keep his identity secret but Toren needs to chill)

The heat of a new days sun burned into his pelt as he laid there, his eyes started drooping. //No!// he growled //I can't fall asleep now, we need to get off this island today!// Sitting up he looked up at the branches hanging over his head. //Maybe we can build a raft?// he strained his neck forward and squinted his eyes //if only I knew how//

(haha Toren has no chill when keeping his secret, and considering the tumoil and racism in their world, plus that his species is being hunted down, id say he has his reasons haha)

Being a vagabond with nothing better to do than odd jobs and read he's suprisingly knowledgeable, even of less known things)

"Ah, so that's what you were trying to communicate,"Fiacail whispered upon it being made clear that he was to be the one in charge of tending to thw zany coyote hybrid. "Well, 'tis a change in plans," He rested his hands on his hips as he surveyed Sirius' wound. "Nothing mum's basic herbal blend won't fix..."

(I might stop here, as I either keep losing connection and have to type sections out all over again or my 3DS loses battery.)

(I guess the system mustn't have charged completely.)

Toren looked at Dorian "... Yes... ill keep it secret..." Toren looked towards where the sun was rising, "I know whats like... having a secret like that..." Toren said quietly, a bit of his sentimental side showing through, "uh besides!" He shook off that soft side," You keep your mouth shut about what you saw and ill keep mine shut."

(Brb gonna grab dinner: it's not like I'm even doing anything right now X'D)

Malakai walked back towards the camp, holding his boots by the laces he liked the feeling of sand between his toes. //Maybe the others know how to build a raft// he suddenly felt more cheerful and ran up to the camp almost barrelling straight into Raven

Raven stumbled backwards in surpise when Malakai barely stopped himself from hurdling into him. "Watch it, dwarf!" he snapped crossly.

Malakai spun on Raven "Who're you calling shorty!?" he snapped back, blood started rushing to his head.

(I thought you said shorty, let's replace that with dwarf xP)

Toren pittied the harpy a little bit more, and relaxed his stance. He sighed at Dorians obvious fear, but figured that Dorian wouldn't say anything because of this fear. "Come on. Lets head back to camp, we need to get off this island. Wheres your mask?"

(Sorry for changing it! I thought shortie sounded a bit too friendly when coming out of Raven's mouth xP)

"Short-tempered too?" Raven scrutinized, a smirk threatening to crawl across his face.

Toren sighed a little louder this time. This odd Harpy actually had Toren feeling sorry for him when a few minutes earlier he would have killed him. "Well," toren rubbed the back of his neck, "We can't have your identity exposed." Toren blushed slightly annoyed at having to take care of the harpy, "Can't you find it or make another one out of some bark or something? If you cant figure something out soon ill leave you here to fend for youself."

Malakai gritted his teeth, rage boiled inside him at Raven's mocking tone. "Whatever, like I'm going to take cr*p from some freak of nature" he backed away a bit, smirking at Raven.

(Raven and Malakai 'fight fight fight jk lol)

/Sir?/ Toren blushed again frowning slightly. "yea yea thats fine" he tuned and headed back to camp. "Come on, im not waiting for you."

"Says the cowardly shapeshifter who can't even scream like a real man." Raven mocked. He took a step closer to Malakai, his legs extending until he was towering over the already-short boy.

( @Raksha: Don't encourage us XDD)

Toren could hear a ruckus coming from the camp site and picked up his pace.

Raven reared back as Malakai's jaws clamped onto one of his frontmost legs. The canid boy's teeth clicked on his exoskeleton, not piercing all the way through but leaving scratches. In a swift motion, Raven kicked his leg out, flinging Malakai off of him.

(Yikes, finals? Scary... O-O)

As Malakai sailed through the air, he twisted so he landed in a hunters crouch. He snarled and withdrew two daggers one for each hand, these were definitely long enough to do serious damage. He got upright and charged at Raven..

(yup, finals ugh)

As Toren reached the camps edge he saw Raven and Malakai engaged in a fight. Toren groweled slightly, he already had to deal with Dorian this morning, and now this. "What the Heck is goig on!?" Toren groweled out in frustration.

(fights can be fun in RPs lol)

(Meanwhile Sirius is recovering from being KOd, if he were awake he would try to resolve conflict in the worst way possible, throw a pebble to grab their atention)

Malakai stopped halfway in his charge as he heard Toren's voice. His senses quickly returned to him and he stood there for a moment //what the hell am I doing?// he glared at Raven and quickly put away his daggers

(I think there should be group drawings or something where the characters are in pairs
I want to draw Malakai and Sirius as wolf and coyote respectively for the sake of having that as a drawing)

Raven leaped into a battle stance, all eight of his legs spread apart in a sturdy posture, his hands balled into fists. //It's been too long since I've had a good fight with a worthy opponent,// he thought.

(Im imagining Kai and Raven stopping mid attack, like literally freezing while staring at Toren and just yelling "he started it" at the same time
Meanwhile Adara is a disappointed mom)

Raven paused at Toren's outburst. Without turning away from his opponent, his eyes flickered to the horned man. Slight disappointment bubbled in him due to the fight being interrupted.

(I was thinking about doing some drawings based on the RP, but maybey after finals when i have more time, haha)

A deep snarling came from Torens chest as he looked at Malakai and Raven. He gave out an exasperated huff and sat on the sand. //look at us// he thought. //were falling apart and turning on each other//.
(aaaand i have to go now)

(never mind, i have a few more minutes)

Malakai growled at Toren //I was going to teach that punk a lesson by removing a few limbs// he glanced towards Raven and back to Toren "Nothing now" he growled, rage fading from him.

( @Fady That would explain as to why Fiacail was virtually the only ((concious)) being remaining at camp. XD Wait, what if the herb storage lacks the basic ingredients for the remedy? He knows the island has the natural resources required, but he just couldn't go foraging and afford to leave Sirius alone, lying on the ground. Well, maybe he could move him to the shelter, but still... Hey! I have an idea! :D What if the gang were to construct a small treatment area complete with a roof? What with all the injuries and occasions in which a member becomes unconscious, they would have a place to rest and recover.)

(XD I also love how both Adara and Fiacail don't like the rain, but for different reasons.)

(Whaley: Ooh, that'd be a cool idea! However, KJumper had stated that she wanted our group to be off the island by the next chapter, so we might not have the time to do such xP)

(Oh yeah, they do! It's a weakness to both of them as well, because I'm sure Fiacail's not very mobile on land when in his anthro form XD)

( @Fady I guess we'll just see how things play out. And Fiacail's surprisingly fine when it comes to movement while in that transformation, albeit he was a bit wobbly at first. XD The cons, though, include impaired vision ((hence why he relies more on his modified goggles in this state)), the strong possibility of having his cover blown ((he can't control it, and he only reverts to his human form when his skin is relatively dry)), as well as a lack of opposable thumbs. XD Craftsmanship is very difficult when you have flat stubs for hands.))

(Everything made sense after I saw the WIP of his intermediate form: before seeing it, I had imagined that his said form was like a mermaid's - y'know, upper half human, lower half whale XDDD Now that I have seen his middle form, I feel silly to have imagined him as such TuT)

( @Fady <X'D That's alright! I wouldn't be surprised if you weren't the only one to have imagined him as such. Though now I'm glad I didn't design him that way, either. I could imagine wolf-Malakai having to carry him on his back. XDD)
