to inferno: Being socially awkward doesn't mean that you can't make friends. It just makes it a little harder and keeps them from being popular. They could probably befriend other socially awkward people.

true i'm socially ockward but i make friends easily with my sense of humor. but they need to try harder. and realise not everyone wants to have a bf or gf. they need to give it time for a relationship and feeling to build.
