So, question. In the world of pokemon you get a starter. But the starter doesn't have to be the grass, fire or water starter the game gives you. Trainers in the game don't usually have those!
So, if you could pick ANY of the 'official' starters which would it be and why? And of the over seven hundred regular non-legendary non-starter pokemon which would be your starter and why?

I actually had a hard time picking from the starters! It came down to Bulbasaur and Snivy. But I really don't like the entire Snivy line, just Serperior... However I love the entire Bulba line! Yep. Screw Charmander and Squirtle! I've been team grass for a while! (Most of the starters Imchoose are the grass types except Cyndiquil and Froakie...)
And Noibat was a CLEAR winner. It's some of my favorite colors, it's a boombox bat! (sooooo metal!) and it's a dragon! The fastest dragon naturally in the game. I have so much I love about it, it's the perfect starter for me!
So how about you guys?

Hmm.. officaly wold have to be Charmander or Piplup, both are my favourite starters but I might have to go with Piplup over Charmander.
As fo an unofficial starter.. Mightyena has been my favourite pokemon for a few games now so probably Poochyena.. Does Lapras count? I would go for a Lapras too xD
