She is dangerous, even without powers, I could sense skill and experience in her far beyond the average, and she could challenge a small army herself... But what if it's a innocent village? With children like Rubio? With nobody to stop her, and she doesn't stop because she doesn't care? And their lives were lost because we didn't stop her when we had the chance?

Deep into the night, Argon sneaks off and approaches the Wyvern Rider that helped him earlier.
"I need you to do me a favor," he says.
Clucthing to a piece of paper, he and the rider take off into the night sky, heading in the direction where they saw the purple blaze earlier.

(Considering that we already have an endgame and current-game villian set, I think Infinity should be an ally at some point, however, it will most likely not be Indigo who trusts her, because of his deep feelings of protection, which is good because she is already labeled as Xalisian. I will leave any recruitability and convincing to Acen, Zona, etc.

"I took it upon myself to watch you closely" he says smiling "I just know how genocidal monsters think from one monster to the other" he says with his eyes narrowing and a purple gas flowing from the eye surrounded by his scar

Argon scans the area for Micah, but can't find her; however, the wyvern can sense her fear, and signals to the rider that he found her.
The rider directs Argon's attention in her direction.

"Ah, there she is. Now I can...agh, she's with a royal! Better wait for him to go off somewhere before I do this."

Mortem sniffs "hmm a wyvern is nearby........ I wonder why" he says transforming and lighting a fire infrount of him and sitting infrount of it in his human form

"No clue wyverns can mean there is just wild ones here or that a rider is nearby" he says warming himself up.

Argon glances over at Mortem's fire.
"Ah, so there's the fire-starter. Hm, seems they've recruited a few more members since last time, as I see unfamiliar figures. They must be getting serious. Perhaps now I..."
Argon turns to the Wyvern Rider. "Bring me down closer, but keep hidden. If I'm going to go through with this, I'm gonna have to do it fast!"

Argon and the rider get closer, but then Argon has a thought.
"I've got an idea to distract the royal. Go over there and cause a commotion. The royal will be sure to go check it out. While he's investigating, I'll make my move."

(Which Royal?)

"Hmmm I don't trust this I don't think the nearest Wyvern tribe lives on the mountain..... Little ones? Is there any Wyvern riders in your group?" Mortem yells asking the lords

Acen to Mortem:No..we don't..We've been ambushed!
Prepare for battle!

(Oh. It'd be Indigo since Micah went to get him after he left to clear his head. Unless you went with too, then you could fill in and we could say he went off elsewhere.)

Mortem quickly gets up and grabs his sword and pulls It throught the fire and runs towards the Wyvern using the sword as a torch

The rider goes over, but, rather than simply causing a commotion, he signals. Upon hearing his signal, other troops show up.
Argon looks on in disbelief.
"What?! You had a squadron follow us here?! That was not part of the plan!"

(Ok,I was just confused for a second.Acen's at the camp)

The rider responds:
"Don't think I haven't figured it out, sellsword scum! You're planning mutiny and are going to join up with the royal trash! Well, we don't tolerate traitors in our squad. Prepare to die alongside the royals!"

"Dam were surrounded" he mentions under his breath

*Acen advances torward the enemy troops*
Drop your weapons! We can avoid bloodshed if you surrender now.We'll be merciful.

Wyverns close in on Argon. Argon glares at the first wyvern rider.
"You devious son of a dog." He puts the paper into his pocket. "Looks like this will have to wait."

Mortem transform into his main dragon form and sends purple fire towards a Wyvern rider

Ugh..I have no choice..*draws Solais*
Forgive me!
*strikes the nearest Wyvern rider*

Micah: *Sees the Wyverns in the distance* "Oh no. They found us! I better get over there.. I just hope i can stay calm.."
*Takes a deep breath and runs back to the camp*

*To Infinity and Zona:*You two! We're in battle! Don't drop your guard!

Mortem charges at a rider in his dragon form and cancels most of his transformation besides his wings tail and one talon and flies at the rider drawing the sword he had on him and stabing the rider and clawing him causing him to slam into the ground before Mortem lands and takes takes off the wyverns Armor and sends it off with no damage done to the Wyvern.

Zona! That was uncalled for! She appears to be fighting on our side.You need to control your anger.

Argon dodges the attacks thrown at him. He notices Zona and Infinity fighting.
"Seems the new recruits aren't exactly on their side." He then notices Micah. "Micah! I've got to get ro her quick, while the royals and wyverns are distracted."
He runs towards Micah.

Mortem sighs and uses his dragon form to hit zona in the head to try knocking some sense into him

Argon suffers a wound to his back and falls to the ground. The paper falls out of his grip and lands on the ground.

However, as he scans the battlefield, he sees his comrades. He sees Zona punishing two of our allies and in an outrage (cuz hes still mad at Indigo) his launches a barrage of tiny punches at his thigh*

The rider gets back into his attacking position.
"Oh lookie here! Both of the traitors are in one place. If I kill you both, Tybalt will be sure to promote me!"

Micah: "Gods.. Argon, you're going to bleed out at this rate.." *Stars rummaging through bag* "Come on.. I have to have a vulnerary or something!

Micah: *Turns to the rider* "You greedy rat! The only thing you're gonna be getting is a nasty wound! Take this!" *Slices at him, knocking him off if his wyvern*

The rider turns his attention to Acen.
"Alright then, little lordling. I kill you first, then the girl! Once I bring your heads to the boss, I will SO earn that promotion! Have at thee!"

*Falls off of wyvern*
"GAH! You sneak! No matter! I am just as adept on foot as I am on my wyvern!"

Argon notices something else fall from the wyvern. He crawls toward it.

The rider runs towards Acen, uttering a battle cry. (Too bad I didn't come up with a name for him. I guess he can be that one boss that nobody remembers, like that guy in the Prologue level in FE 7)

"I'll go get the shorty out of the tree"flies over to Rubio and picks him up and lands on the ground and places him down "there you go " he says smiling before quickly sending a small blast of fire at a Wyvern rider and walking over to Indigo."want me to try knocking him out?" Mortem asks grabbing a green dragon stone.

*He begins to wail due to his fear of heights*

(I think realistically Zona would've attacked Rubio, but yeah xD {someone else could've saved him})

"You're forgetting, I have a wyvern to fight with me!" He turns to see his wyvern fleeing, or doing whatever a mount does when it's rider gets struck down. "You cowardly lizard!"

*Now on the ground, Rubio flies at Zona once more and crawls onto his shoulders clawing at his face with his fingers* "NGHHH!"

(Zona could've ATTEMPTED to attack Rubio, not actually land a hit. The best scenes are those where you say *Zona lunges a swing at Rubio* then leave the option for another to save him, like *Indigo leaps in the way and takes the blow etc* <non canon)

"Zona! *leaps upto him and knocks him hard out of the wind, slamming to the ground, Indigo on top of him*

*extends his hand to the Wyvern rider*You will be spared.Peace?
(This is his chance to get his weapon and strike)

The rider makes an evil smirk.
"You fool! Never extend you arm to your foe on the battlefield!"
He grabs his lance and thrusts it at Acen's chest.

(Good night Over! {Mind if I call you that?} And you're welcome!")

Indigo: "Zona? Are you alright?"

*Infinity's hold from the wind weakens*

Indigo: "Z...Zona?"

*gets off of Zona. Face showing concern*

(Oh darn, you already did. Right, then. My turn.)

*not expecting the hit,Acen collapses*

The rider places his foot on top of Acen.
"Any last words before I repossess your head, little lord?" he says with a smug grin.

Mortem dashes towards the 2 and tries tackling the rider to help Acen.

The rider is caught off guard by Mortem.

Micah: "Kyah!"

*Micah comes sideswiping behind the dismounted wyvern rider and slices across with Gale Edge held backwards*

Micah: Sorry to sneak "behind enemy lines" there, pal... *looks to Acen* Are you alright, blue shirt?"

(I read Inky wanted someone to try to portay as Micah, I wanted to try xD She can write it off as non canon if she wishes)

Mortem slapping the Wyvern rider in the face once there on the ground "should we take him captive?"

(Jon, yes, but I thought one comment as her wouldn't hurt :b and it's to make up for not trying before, because she had hoped somebody would try back in Beginnings, but nobody did, so now I did xD canon or non-canon)

(Lugia, if he was sideswiped in the back and beaten in the face, I think the option of capture is out xD)

The rider kicks Mortem off and struggles to get back on his feet.
"Hah, huff. You think...you can defeat...ME? No way! Not as long as I have my- "
Before he can finish, he starts frantically searching for something. "What?! Where?!"

"Where's my- "
Before he can finish his sentence, a sword is drawn into his back and comes out of his stomach. Argon leans in toward him and asks while waving an empty concoction in front of him, "Looking for this? You should be more careful with your belongings, they could easily get into the wrong hands."

(You guys mind if I end it like that, or would you like more of a fight?)

*Dazed,but unable to get up or speak,nods his head*

"Well then let's raid the bodies" Mortem yells letting go of the last of the Wyvern and heading to raid bodies(I'm tempted to switch Allen to a Wyvern riding class but none use swords)

(I'm taking Lugia's response as a "No, go ahead and end it.")

After removing his sword from the rider, Argon searches for more the concoctions while the rider utters his final words:
"You...sick...son of a...Ungh..."

(Wyvern Lords can wield swords. I don't know about Fates or even Awakening, but I know they can in Sacred Stones.)

After finding one of the concoctions, he walks over to Acen and throws it at him. "Here. You'll need this."
He then turns to look at the rest of the group. "You all saw nothing. Not a word to anyone." He then runs into the woods.

Come to think of it, there's one thing I still need to do as Argon.)

After fleeing the royal's campsite, Argon runs back to theenemy camp. Once he gets there, he shouts,
"Tybalt! You have to get up, the royals are on to us! They've already killed our defense squadron! They've got a dragon on their side, and this time, they're not taking any prisoners!"

"They didn't suffer a single loss, but fortunately, they're weary from battle, so we can get to the hideout before them if we move now! This might be our only chance to get ahead of them, so we need to mobilize quickly!"

"Also, they are probably following me. I'll lead them off in another direction while you get back to the hideout!"

Indigo: *huff* Zona, I'm so sorry... I never knew...

What was this other man who stopped you before?"

(to Micah- wait, did Indigo know of Argon by name?)

"Well them" goes back to laying by a fire and grabs one of the fallen people's weapons and begins hitting it with a hammer in the fire.

*searches in his smallpack for the concotion Zona gave him*

*Scowls, tears running down his face. In his pain, Rubio manages to scream at Zona.* "I HATE YOU!"

I..I let my guard down...The stranger in red gave me a concoction.I just haven't been able to open it

(oh yeah, Argon did, huh? Well Indigo dodn't seem to notice it in his haste to help Acen xD)

Indigo: "Gah... You look like you took a hard blow, my friend. All of this fighting has left everyone in a mess... *looks outward toward Rubio* He sounds miserable... I'll need to calm him down after I fix you up. Can you sit up, Ace? We need to move you toward camp."

I can try..*Tries to sit up*

*To Indigo*You can go tend to Rubio.Ill be fine.

Indigo: "I would normally question that kind of a request, but I know you, Acen, and I trust your judgement, and I'll go for Rubio.

However, I'm at least going to help you get up, here. *puts Acen's arm around Indigo's neck/shoulder and waits for Acen to give the greenlight*

(*"greenlight" is just an expression I'm using in an action to express to you guys, not meaning Indigo has knowledge of green/red stoplights xD)

Mortem watches Acen and Indigo closely

"No, I'm not." *shoots a glare at Indigo* "HE hurt me," *points at Zona* "and I was all alone." *shifts his position so that his back faces Indigo* "I wanna go home."

*Looks down and starts sniffling heavily* "I'll never forgive you."

*sleeps*

Micah: *Scans the area, seeing her 'friends' (She's still convinced that they don't trust her) in disarray* "Aw, crud. I didn't think everyone would fall apart so fast.. Well, I can't expect a rogue's resilience from a royal. I better try to talk to some of them."
*Walks over to Rubio and sits down*
"Hey kid, mind telling me what you're so worked up about?"

*With tears and snot running down his face, he shows Micah his bitten fingers and his bruises. Then, he accusingly points at Zona and slumps his head into his arms to cry some more.*

Micah: "Hey, no tears. You'll be fine, alright? These'll heal in a few days.
You know, you can't just love your whole life hating someone, Rubio. Sure, Zona messed up. But he couldn't help it, okay?
Sometimes you just need to forgive and forget. Can you do that for him?" *Micah gave Rubio a tired smile, in an attempt to cheer him up.*

(Hey uh, do you want to do a bit of Tybalt, or should I just assume that the enemy moves out to avoid further contact with the royals?)

*Looks up at Micah* "I-I can try." *gulps and wipes nose* "But how come he was s-so mean?"

Tybalt: "WHAT?! You said you were scouting the area! How were you spotted?! Whatever! Men, get ready to go! We need to get back to the hideout as soon as we can!
Argon, thanks for the warning. Don't get yourself killed when distracting them, okay?"

"Understood. I'll try to find my way back once they're good and led away. Be safe, friend."

With that, Argon moves back towards the royals' campsite. On the way, he wonders how exactly he's going to lead them around without getting killed or captured.
"Sometimes I really hate my job," he mumbles to himself.

Indigo: "I believe so, but to be honest I have no idea what you will be telling me, so preparation isn't very liable now. Please speak what is on your mind."

*Indigo had glaced at Yukki as well, wondering how he never saw him 'til now*

*Indigo shoots a quick stare at Zona*

"Are you sure of that, Zona? You are asking me to kill you. You are a lord of Atrus, Zona, you affect the lives of your kingdom as well, your death would affect your kingdom... are you sure about this request?"

(^whispering in a concerned tone)

Yuuki: * was leaning on a tree a few feet away, staring intensely at the two Lord's as they talked. Their body language was making him feel uneasy. He was digging his clawed fingers into the tree trunk to ease some of his stress. *

Indigo: "I promise you, I would knock you unconsious before I would ever take action to take your life. I believe in protection, but I believe in peace as well.

Contrary to my belief against my confrontation with Infinity, I know you mean better...

Have you looked for any way to prevent your.... rage..?"

Indigo: "May I ask who this legendary warrior's name is? If he's a known warrior, that means Atrus has had a war within his lifetime, right?"

"But hey! Let's talk about something a little less confusing. Would you mind telling me what your home is like? Then it might be easier to find it."

"Aijuke? Hm... 'his time and now'? Seems like he's been around awhile.

Alright, I'll keep your request quiet, Lord Zona. May you have safe travels, and we will be expecting the arrival of your Atrusian friend."

Indigo: "Au revoir."
*watches as Zona walks away from him*

(Sora, I read on MV you announcing that, I just didn't comment cuz I'm saving my comments, but I hope everything is okay for you two :( Can you not use cell service at all?)

"Th-there was grass places and big trees!" *Outstretches arms to show how big* "We would always dance and play and I would dance for my... sister." *Tears start streaming down his face.*

Micah: "Your sister?" *Pats Rubio on the head* "Hey, it'll be alright. Is she off somewhere or something?"

(I am bored, so I'm going to do some unnecessary Argon stuff.)
As Argon nears the royal campsite, he slows to a gentle walk. Making sure to keep his distance, he stations himself behind a tree, occasionally peering out to see what's going on.

He notices Acen sleeping while propped up. "Seems he survived, but he doesn't appear to be doing well." He takes a look around the campground. "No sign of that psycho-mage with the freezing tome, but the new nutty mage is still here. Must've killed him. Good, now I don't have to worry about being frozen, but there's still that dragon. Better keep a sharp eye on that one."

Mortem stands up and sniffs"hmmmm"

Micah: "Hey Rubio, I'm going to take a walk. If anyone asks where I am, could you keep it a secret for me? I need to think." *She walks off away from the camp, closer to the summit*

Then he hears Rubio crying. He thinks to himself ("Oh no, did they bring the kid with them AGAIN?! Don't they understand that he could easily get killed out here? I couldn't bear to watch that happen...again! I hope they're better babysitters than I am..." He then sits down behind his tree. "I'll have to try find the time to get some sleep, but I need to keep an eye out so I don't get caught here. This is going to be tough.")

Mortem goes flying around the perimeter

Micah sits down under a ledge, wondering about how her allies were doing. "Dang, it's worse than I imagined. If only I could reassure them, or better yet, prove myself. I never thought I would see people like Zona or Indigo like this.. It's all my fault. If I had only taken out Gelvak when I was still working with him, I could've broken up the marauders a long time ago. Now people have to die because I was.. Because I was scared.." She shakes her head, and continues to think to herself.

Indigo:
*stretches a little and lets out a tired yawn*

"I better get some rest. But first I need to check back on Acen..."

*walks away from the forest foliage and heads back to the camp main-ground*

He notices Mortem take off. ("Of course the Manakete is the one on patrol duty. Shoot!")

"Ace-" Indigo's words cut off as he notices his wounded friend is quietly motionless

Indigo then crouches down and realizes his friend is merely sleeping

Indigo then mutters quietly "rest well my friend," and then gets up from his crouching position after giving a gentle pat to his friend's shoulder.

He hears Zona.
"Wait that sounds like..."
Peers out to see Zona.
("Sack of C.rap! Why does everything have to be so difficult?! I'll have to come back in the morning. It's a risky move, but it's better than getting caught here!")

Indigo sees Zona dashing about with heightened agility and coordination
"Zona?" Indigo says, feeling insecure about the young lord's unusual actions

*Trying to lighten the mood and feel better himself, Rubio gathers as many dandelions as possible and throws a handful at Zona, Indigo, and Acen.* "Bahh!"

He pauses for a moment. ("Hold on, maybe I could use this to my advantage. It'd mean skipping out on sleep, though. Ah, what's one sleepless night?")
He starts moving out towards...whicever direction the hideout is in.

(I think Indigo would be the only one Rubio would likely throw dandilions at atm because Zona is off running and Acen is asleep, and Indigo is near neither of them, but he is in the middle of camp)

Indigo is suddenly pelted by dandilions

"*pfft!* Rubio!" Indigo exclaims in a quietly loud manner.
"I'll be right back, okay Rubio?" He takes a dandiloin that had lightly attached itself to Indigo's cape and put it onto Rubio, quickly fastening to his shirt collar. Indigo then takes off toward Zona.

*Checks back*
"Yep, he's following me, alright." ("Keep this up and I can lead them right where I need to. Then I can...uh, figure out what to do from there.")

"What? Leaf magic?! What kind of crazy mage is this guy?!"
He draws his sword and slices at the leaves.
"I'm gonna need to pick up the speed here!"

Indigo jumps out through the foresty foliage and lands running right next to Zona
"What're your doing??"
Indigo then notices Argon running away from Zona, although not knowing this was the man Micah asked to give a chance.
Indigo still waiting for a reply from Zona

("Yep, I'm running now.")
Hey, royals! You got questions, I got answers, but you'll have to catch me first!
He then darts off, like he so often does.

(I'm assuming that had to conjure up new leaves beside himself, which'd allow Argon a running start. Also, who wants to end this chapter on a cliffhanger?)

(normally, I might agree, but it doesn't feel like a regular chapter cliffhanger rn, because Indigo and Zona just run off after Argon but how do we start Ch3, then? I think it needs some kind of traditional ending)

"He's a Bael spy? Let me help then!" Indigo waves his hand and in the dark of night, a small gust of wind materializes Duciel into Indigo's right hand. Clutching the elegant blade, Indigo takes off after Argon, surprisingly faster than Zona.

(unfortunately, Jon, only 2 of us are chasing Argon, not everyone. IF everyone was, I'd agree, but we're kinda splitting the cast if we do that now)

(btw Indigo is running, just very fast and very fluently, like the wind I guess xD)

"You won't get away from us!" He swings duciel while making a 360 degree spin of his body, slowing himself down in the process but sending an elwind-like airwave at Argon's feet.

(I pictured Indigo going back, waking up the rest of the team and telling them that they need help catching this guy. Then nobody gets sleep, which could be a handy tool for plot purposes during the next chapter. But yeah, might be too latw for that now...)

Micah hears the three running around in the distance, and sees Argon on a lower level of the mountain. "What the?! Gods, I told him to leave Argon alone! Do I have to do everything?!" She runs down the mountain in an attempt to catch the lords and Argon.

Argon is now stuck in an awkward position on the ground.
"Damn!"

(yeah, but Indigo wouldn't go back and futiley gets the rest of the cast to chase a man who has a huge headstart then all of them save for Zona xD But it could've worked, if events unfolded differently, like ex: Argon appeared at the camp, and then everybody saw him, and then Indi called the chase)

(Y'know, it's funny: The RPs are scheduled for weekends, but we ended up doing most of this on the weekdays.)

(probably cuz you are limited on Sundays, I usually am working on Weekends in general, Ace is visiting family or doing late-day college volenteering on weekends, etc etc xD)

Indigo runs up then stops above Argon

"The better question is, WHAT ARE YOU?! In all my years of selling my sword, I've never seen magic tricks like the ones you guys are pulling!"

Micah stops on a ledge above the three just as Argon's been caught, and cannot hear their conversation. "Agh, I'm too late! They'll take him prisoner, or worse, if I don't step in.." She thinks for a moment, then grabs Game Edge and throws it, so it wedges itself in the ground at Indigo's feet. "Sorry, Blue hair..
HEY! Whatever happened to keeping promises?!"

Micah quickly turned to Indigo and Zona. "Sorry about throwing a sword at you, it's just I expected to not have to worry about him for at LEAST a few days."

"Before we do, I need your name or Micah's order of letting you go.

And Zona is holding you, not me, so I have no choice here really."

Mortem lands by them"hi little ones what's up"

"Don't screw this up for me! Let me do the talking."

Micah nodded. "Alright, just let me get down there. It's not particularly easy to tell a story if you have to shout everything you say." She jumps down from the ledge, and picks up her sword. "Zona, Indigo, this is an old friend, if you can call him that, Argon. Argon, this is Zona and Indigo, two royals you've probably never seen before." She gives the two a nervous look, then turns back to Argon. "..They're dragonbloods. You can imagine my situation from there."

"I'm all ears."

"So yeah, as Micah probably told you already, the name's Argon. I'm a traveling sellsword, currently under the employ of Gelvak. I was ordered to distract you while the rest of my squad headed back to the hideout."

"I am Marquess Indigo de Valon, heir to the thrown of Valon, descendant of the Great Dragonfather, and inherited weilder of the Sky Blade, Duciel.

*Indigo flashes some moonlight on Duciel to Argon*

"Wait, dragon-bloods? You're ALL Manakete?! Oh boy, I'm way in over my head. Wait a minute, where are your wings and talons? If you really are Manaketes, you'd have some part of your dragon form exposed, like that one!" He points at Mortem.

"Zona, give him some slack, please. He's bruised and tired as it is, it's not like he's going to outrun us even if he tried."

*Rubio quietly crawls over to Acen's side whilst he is sleeping. Being extremely cautious, he gently sprinkles the dandelions onto Acen, thinking that they will heal his wounds faster.*

"Ah, I meant my parents were PART human."

"Ah, good point. Though why were you chasing him, exactly?"
Micah continued to glance from Mortem to Indigo nervously as she asked her question.

"So, you're just a touch of Manakete, then? Alright then, makes my job a lot easier."
Turns to Zona. "Oh, so you're being nice now? Mages."
Turns to Micah again. "Alright then, what ELSE did you blab to them about?"

"I can get rid of my dragony parts when I want I've just been more lazy about it lately" he says stretching

"Well, I asked Indigo not to attack you if we saw you again until I had talked to you, but that's about it. Don't worry, your secret is safe with me."
(Pssst. Psssst. I really want to reveal Micah's fear in this chapter because this is where it shows up the most)

"And as far as I know, Micah only confided in me about you. I hadn't realized you were you when I spotted Zona here chasing you."

"(Micah) Zona said he was chasing a spy. I helped him, unknowning it was Argon..."

"Oh. Well, I guess you're a better keeper than I thought. Anyway..."
Argon gets up and dusts himself off.

"I've got some trail to make up here, so I'll be on my way. We shall discuss these matters further when we next meet."

Micah sees Argon getting up. "So... Where will you go now? Back to the hideout?
..You you can't head back there. Gelvak will personally tear you apart."

Argon turns his attention to Micah. "I have to hand it to you for sticking around all these *sarcastic tone* big scary dragons. *Regular tone* But I bet you won't sleep a wink until you've disbanded from them! In fact, I'm actually surprised you're still hanging around 'em! I figured you'dve dropped dead with fear by now!"

"I expect that from him, but I can't just go rogue. It's against my contract. Besides, all the squad members that saw me help you are dead, and I've still got Tybalt's trust.

He looks to Mortem.
"What, she hasn't told you yet? She probably didn't want you to feel bad for her or give her special treatment, but you should at least have the right to know."

Micah glares at Argon. "Oh, who's the untrustworthy one now?! I've done pretty darn well hiding my fear so far, and guess who goes and runs his mouth!" She glances at the three Manaketes around her. "Sigh... Okay, secret's out. Remember when Tybalt attacked me? Remember when I dropped my sword when fighting Infinity with Mortem?
There's a reason. You see, I have a fear of dragons. ..ALL Dragons. Manaketes, Wyverns, whatever. So, you can imagine how difficult it's been for me to be around people like you all, as Argon so kindly pointed out."

She then elbowed Argon out of frustration. "You know what, I should've let them catch you. Maybe I could've kept it up until Gelvak's gone and I can go back to living my life."

"Ohhhh I see" Mortem says rubbing his arm.

*Growing weary and drowsy from today's occurences, Rubio decides to carefully crawl onto the small pile of dandelions he ended up making on Acen's lap. In a matter of minutes he is sound asleep.*

He turns back to Micah.
"What? You never told me that it was supposed to be a secret. I thought it was pretty obvious when I saw how uncomortable you were around our squad, but I guess you got better at hiding your fear."
He then takes a step to the side.

Also, I just realized that I like being the enemy unit. It kinda separates me from the main story and gives me my own little story to write! Plus, because I'm with the enemy, I still end up being part of the main story.)

Micah is about to respond, when she hears Argon running. "Oh, and there he goes! Reveal my weakness and run, eh? Ugh.." She turns back to Indigo. "Thanks, I guess I pulled it off better than I thought I did.
Look, this has nothing to do with you. It's a weakness that I have, that I'll continue to handle myself like I always have. I can't let the chance of any of you transforming get in the way of fighting Gelvak and his goons. Thanks for the concern."

"Well then. I guess I'll have to trust you once again. I don't understand where his loyality lies, in his contract, or his heart. He seems to want to do the latter, but still sides with the Marauders..

On the note of your dracophobia, I hope that I do not burden you, and I assure you, transforming into dragon forme is the last thing I want to do..."

Indigo looks away a slight bit with his eyes, seeming a bit distant.

(and Jon, a Pokken demo is on Wii U eshop, I tried it, the mechanics are actually pretty good, I'm a fan of Soulcalibur, (not Street Fighter, meh) and this was actually pretty good. My only real complaint that makes me not want to buy it is the narrator girl's annoying cheesy Pokemon quirps and exclaimations when you do anything.

Also, the demo lets you play Pikachu, Lucario, Charizard, and Gengar, single-player only, vs CPU)

Indigo turns away a bit in response, chin down and not looking at anything in particular, then quickly mutters, "I-it's nothing."
Indigo looks back toward camp.
"I think I'll go back and check on everyone now. We all need rest too, it's been a long day..."

*Indigo then starts walking off toward the camp*

"Lets go."

Micah grabs his shoulder before he walks off. "Its definitely not nothing.. Are you okay? You look a lot like you did after our fight with Infinity. Not a pleasant sight."

(Yeah, the concept of Anerjica, FE:BI, and the kingdoms were concieved on July I8, 2OI5! Though the release of FE:BI as an actual story and group did not happen until Feb I9, this year, six months later, which was about two months ago! xD)

Indigo, surprised by Micah stopping him, ceased his returning to the camp and looked at Micah.
"I'm... not sure I like to speak of this at present."

Micah let go of his shoulder and stepped back. "Alright, I won't force you. I'm sure it's.. "Nothing". You head back to camp, I'll catch up."

( @GO, the only thing was that we were trying to not use dimensional crossings unless under a few agreed circumstances. It is my personal belief that if Infinity is indeed now limited in her powers, that she is almost temporarily condemned to this world, with no way to go back to her own or other worlds.

We've actually already had to decline others from "moving" their characters over from other RPs into this one, without first telling them they had to rewrite their character to fit into the story. A good example is @Allesandre_Phille (sorry typos), her OC Yukki had to be rewritten to fit into FEBI.)

Indigo, before returning to camp, turns to Micah, who was walking away, then says "I wasn't worried you'd go off and rob anybody, I just want to make sure you watch your back, like you've watched ours."

Indigo then turns with a slight smile and then heads back to camp.

GO, okay, cool. Just makin' sure. I feel like lately I've been the barer of bad news to most questions/issues upon FEBI or the first one to say "cant do that" and it makes me sad to see others not have everything "their way" but as a co-leader I have to stand firm to make sure everything is fair for /everyone/. Which gives me some peace but it still feels kinda sucky.

Thankfully for me, and I mean to show gratitude, that I am not the only one who's had to put a foot down and look kinda stern. I thank you Forever Team who has done this. (I know of one-some of you who has done this but I'm saying it anonymously)

(also, I wont be busy until later this afternoon through evening, so I am a bit more free today than I had thought before :b)

Plot summary:
Micah stands at the front of the group as they approach the summit of the Ventus Mountains. Just when she feels she can have a moment to herself, a lone chicken runs up seemingly out of nowhere. Micah is confused, but Eltenir, who also comes out of nowhere, reassures her that there are such things as 'mountain chickens.' Since the chicken seemed distressed, Eltenir decides to ask the chicken what's wrong. Before he had a chance to approach the chicken, Mortem jumps out from a bush and catches the chicken. He turns to his comrade to let him know he caught it, but the comrade doesn't appear to be with him anymore.
After taking a look around, Mortem asks Micah where he is. Micah, noticing that he was holding the chicken too tightly, tells him to ease up on his grip. Mortem justifies his tight grip by telling her that he chased this chicken all the way from Palmalia, and did not want to let the sucker go.
(Continued below).

Elternir, on the other hand, is concerned that Mortem is going to eat the chicken. Mortem reassures him that he's not going to eat it (yet). He was chasing it because it was his son's. It turns out that Mortem accidentally burned down his son's chicken coop, and now he's catching them all to mend his misdeed. While the chicken conundrum is going on, a small cat-like creature is stalking Eltenir. This creature, named Kero, thinks that Eltenir is a giant bird, and wants to make a quick meal out of him. He readies himself to pounce.
Micah notices that Mortem has dragon-like features, and asks him if he is a dragonskin while stepping back. Mortem confirms this. Upon noticing that Micah is stepping back, Eltenir goes on the offensive because he believes that Mortem is threatening her. But before anything else can happen, Kero goes into beast form and jumps on Eltenir, who freaks out. Upon realizing that Eltenir is a Heron and not just a bird, Kero stops his assault.

Also, I forgot to mention that it is night.
Meanwhile, Zona stayed behind to purchase supplies for the team from a nearby village. After purchasing the supplies, he heads off to rejoin the rest of the group. No sooner did he leave than Argon arrive at the same village to purchase supplies for his squad. After instructing his wyvern rider escort to wait for him, he moves into the village to look for a vendor.
At that moment, Zona realized that the merchant gave him extra vulneraries. Not wanting to take advantage of the merchant, he decided to go back to pay for the extras. Meanwhile, Argon came up to the same merchant and asked for vulneraries. When the merchant told him that his last customer bought them all. While Argon ponders who exactly would buy that many vulneraries, Zona arrives at the scene. Argon tries to dart off, but Zona stops him with Kurai. After paying the merchant, he goes to interrogate the shifty sellsword.

Back with the chicken crew, Kero is surprised to find out that 'hu-banans' (his way of saying 'humans') really do exist. Micah seems confused about this, and wonders how he could possibly be unaware of the existance of humans on this continent. Kero then apologizes to Eltenir, stating that he would not eat a 'birb hubanan', despite the fact that he hasn't eaten in three days. Eltenir remains hostile towrds the kitty-boy.
Upon hearing that Kero hadn't eaten in three days, Mortem throws Kero a slice of bread and Micah gives him an apple. Eltenir, upon seeing the bread, tries to take it from Kero. The two begin to wrestle, which irritates Mortem. To try to stop this, Mortem breathes fire in front of them and threatens to burn them to cinders if they don't stop fighting. Kero then decides to settle for the apple.
After seeing Mortem's fiery display of dragon-esque power, Micah loses it and runs away. Upon seeing this, Eltenir grabs Kero and sets off to get her.
(Continued below).

Meanwhile, Argon, lamenting about his luck, explains to Zona that he was merely picking up supplies to 'survive the night'. Zona sees that as fine, but is determined to take him prisoner. Argon then tries to strike a deal with Zona. He says he'll leave him alone if he can have half of the vulneraries plus the extras. Zona strongly refuses and questions Argon's morals, so Argon cuts the deal down to only the extras and states that he has his sense of good morals, despite being under the employ of marauders. Zona agrees this time, but threatens to do worse to him next time he sees him and then runs off with his remaining supplies.
Argon goes back to the merchant to purchase concoctions instead, and then goes back to his escort; however, the escort overheard his conversation with Zona, which made him very suspicious of Argon and his allegiance. Despite this, the two head off back toward their camp.
(Continued below).

Back with the royal group, Eltenir, Kero, and Mortem are all in pursuit of Micah. Micah hears them coming and hopes that they don't have any questions relating to her flight. Unfortunately, once they catch up to her, those are the exact questions they ask. Fortunately for Micah, Indigo shows up, along with his youngest brother Jaden, and everyone forgets about their questions. Kero decides to go back for the apple, which he dropped after Eltenir grabbed him. Instead of letting him go back, both Eltenir and Mortem throw more food at him. This time, Kero gets to enjoy his meal.
Meanwhile, Argon and his escort notice the purple blaze set by Mortem earlier. They take note of that location and assume that the royals are camping irresponsibly there. Indigo also notices the bazing inferno and moves quickly to try to extinguish the flames. He is later joined by Micah, Mortem and Acen. Working together, they manage to put out the flames.

After the fire is put out, Micah decides to try and slip away, but Indigo tries to stop her. But before either of them can make any more moves, an odd stranger emerges from the shadows. The stranger introduced herself as Infinity, the physical concept of time in relation to space. Meanwhile, Zona is on his way to the royal campsite when he bumps into an old friend named Yuuki, who decides to accompany Zona because he 'seems a bit stressed'. Zona tells him it is nothing that he should worry about, but then starts having second thoughts about letting Argon go free. Yuuki then summons wolves, which they both ride towards the camp.
Back at the camp, Infinity admits that she was planning to destroy them all with an ambush, but decided to try a non-violent approach instead. Indigo is angered by the fact that she planned to destroy them, and demands to know why. Infinity shrugs and casually admits to regularily comitting genocide across dimensions.
(Continued below).

However, she notes that this particular dimension has constrained some of her powers. Indigo feels that she should not be considered an ally, but Micah tries to calm him down by throwing the possibility of a bluff. Unfortunately, Infinity claimed that, were she at full power, she would murder everyone in cold blood. At this, Indigo asks her if she truly does not seek peace and would rather destroy humanity. Infinity agrees with the latter, which sends both Indigo and Micah into battle mode.
Drawing their weapons, they prepare to do battle with Infinity. But, before the battle begins, Zona arrives at camp and jumps in to protect Infinity. Indigo tells Zona to back down for his own safety, but instead, Zona tries to convince Infinity to not destroy humanity. Infinity claims that he has to because her 'superiors' ordered her to. Through a long series of exchanging views and arguments, they decide to let her go, even though no one trusted her, since Zona believed that she could change.

Unsettled and exhausted both mentally and spiritually by the Infinity bit, Indigo goes on a late-night walk to clear his mind. Zona, on the other hand, stays to set up camp. Yuuki harbors distrust towards Zona's 'friends', but Zona reassures him that they are good people. Afterwards, Yuuki offers some food to Zona, and he accepts his offer. Zona decides to sleep, but after wacthing Yuuki make a hammock from scratch and put it up, Zona ends up being more amazed than tired, but still decides to take a nap.
Meanwhile, Micah tries to catch up to Indigo to find out what is bothering him. Turns out, Indigo did not agree with the decision to let Infinity go, because he did not like the thought of letting a powerful genocidal machine roam around the world. Many an innocent life could be lost, all because they didn't prevent the problem before it became one.

Deep into the night, Argon approaches the wyvern rider that escorted him earlier, and asks him to do him a little favor. Little did he know that the rider would do him more than just a favor. The two fly back to the area where they saw fire and land on a nearby mountain. Argon dismounts in search for Micah. He finds Micah, but notices that she's with Indigo. He asks his escort to create a diversion to distract Indigo so that he can get to Micah unhindered.
Back at the camp, Zona awakes from his nap and goes for a walk. Afterwards, Infinity comes to the camp and notices that everyone is either gone or asleep, except for Mortem. Being the only one left there, Mortem goes over to Infinity to start a conversation. However, not long into the conversation, Mortem smells a wyvern, and Infinity gets the feeling that they are being watched. At the same time, Zona gets the same feeling and runs back to camp to investigate.

Argon closes in on Micah's position, while, unbeknownst to Argon, the wyvern rider motions with his hand for others to move in. Mortem loudly asks if the royals have a wyvern rider in the group, waking up Acen in the process. Acen procalims that they don't, and quickly tells the troops to prepare for battle. At that moment, Zona arrives at camp and asks where Micah and Indigo are in a panicky fashion.
Meanwhile, Argon notices that the rider had a squad follow them and demands to know why. The rider tells him that he believes Argon is planning to betray the group by siding with the royals, and because of that, he must die. Argon abandons his mission and prepares to fight back as more riders close in on him. Fortunately, the royals come enter the battle and engage the enemy, which diverts some of the men's attention from Argon.

Zona arrives at the scene, infuriated by Argon's return. but, after seeing Infinity take a shot at him while uttering a foreign battle cry, Zona scolds Infinity for attacking his target. Infinity ignores him, sending him into a blind and ruthless rage. Acen tries to stop their fighting, but the fight quickly escalates to the point where they are trying to kill each other. Argon, seeing this as an opportunity to make his move, hops down from his perch and dashes toward Micah; however, his escort notices him and moves in for the kill.
Micah, noticing Argon, assumes that he is here t take her out and draws her blade. Before Argon has the chance to explain himself, the rider comes up behind him and delivers a powerful blow to his back. Argon falls to the ground and drops a piece of paper that he was clutching in his hand. Micah picks up the note and asks what it is, but before Argon has a chance to respond, the rider swoops in to deliver a kill blow. Micah, however, blocks the incoming attack.

(Wow, I've been forgetting to do the "(Continued below)." bit this entire time. Oh well, I'll get it next time.)

Zona and Infinity continue to ignore Acen's pleas for them to stop fighting. Seeing how his words were not getting through, Acen goes over to help Micah. Mortem then steps in to try to stop the two himself, but doesn't really get much better results. Upon seeing the brawl, Indigo steps in to try and stop Zona by reasoning with him. Zona, no longer in control of his actions due to his rage, shows no sign of stopping and continues to try to kill Infinity. At that moment, Rubio tries his own method to try and stop Zona, but only ends up being put into a tree by Raifuransu. mortem goes over to rescue Rubio while Indigo uses Duciel to envelop both Infinity and Zona in whirlwinds. Zona uses Kurai on Infinity to 'trap her twice', leaving himself vulnerable. Taking advantage of this, Indigo knocks the wind out of Zona, freeing him from his rage. Unfortunately, he also collapses.
Meanwhile, Argon tells Micah that he was trying to give her the paper because he needs her to read it. He instructs her to not let anyone else see it and to destroy it if becomes to difficult to keep secret. Acen arrives and challenges the rider to fight him instead. The wyvern rider vows to take Acen's head and begins to charge. But before he can get to Acen, Micah intercepts him and knocks him off of his wyvern. The rider continues to charge towards Acen, claiming that he doesn't need his wyvern to win. But, unbeknownst to the rider, something else fell off of the wyvern that he needed. Argon, seeing this as an opportunity to get back into the fray, crawls toward it.

The rider attacks Acen, but is unable to land a blow. Acen, wanting to end things peacefully, extends his hand and offers to end this without further violence. The rider refuses and jabs Acen in the chest with his lance. Not expecting the hit, Acen collapses, but before the rider can decapitate him, Micah swoops in and takes a slice at the rider. Before the rider can react to this, Mortem tackles him. While Mortem asks if they should take the rider captive, the rider kicks him off and tries to pull out a secret weapon. He can't find it, and before he has the chance to say what it was, Argon drives a sword through his back and out the other side of his body. It turns out that the rider dropped his concoction when Micah knocked him off of his wyvern, and Argon picked it up and healed himself with it.
After delivering the blow, Argon finds another concoction and throws it to Acen, instructing the rest of the group never to speak of the events that took place tonight. Argon then runs back to his camp. Meanwhile, Zona regains consciousness and apologizes for his behavior. He then says that he must go back to his kingdom to prevent any more outbursts like this, and will send his best chef to aid the royals in his place.

Indigo props Acen up on some sticks to help him stand, and Acen drifts off to sleep. Meanwhile, Argon makes it back to his camp. He informs Tybalt that he had an encounter with the royals and that one of he wyvern squads were utterly destroyed in the process. He also mentions that they could be following him, so he suggests that Tybalt and the rest of the squad head off to the hideout while he stays behind to lead the royals off in another direction. Tybalt agrees, and Argon heads back to see if he's actually being followed. Meanwhile, the lords are trying to calm Rubio down, who was very upset by Zona's actions. Zona begins to leave, but Yuuki stops him. Zona then tells Yuuki to stay with the royals and help them out. Yuuki still doesn't trust them, but agrees to do so for his lord's sake. Zona has a thought and gets Indigo to come over and talk to him. He tells Indigo to kill him if he ever goes berserk again, but Indigo refuses, stating that he would rather knock him out every time than end him once and for all.

Zona leaves as Indigo watches, then Indigo goes to check on Acen. At that moment, Argon arrives back at the camp. He stays out on the perimeter to avoid detection, but Mortem still senses him, as well as Zona. Upon sensing him, Zona quickly runs back to the camp in search for Argon, this time with intent to capture without any negotiation. Indigo gets next to Zona, wondering what the commotion is about. Seeing that hiding will do him no good, Argon starts to move out, but Zona begins to follow. Knowing that his cover is now blown, Argon stops being sneaky and invites the lords to chase him, hoping that the resulting chase will be enough to earn Tybalt an advantage in distance. Unfortunately, Zona's magic stops him and he gets caught by the two lords.
Micah, overhearing the struggle, comes down to try and stop them since she asked Indigo not to hurt him next time they see him. Indigo, however, had no idea that this was the man she was talking about, and begins to question Argon. Micah stops them and explains that this is the man that she didn't want them to attack. After Indigo asks him if he's Argon, Argon assumes that Micah read them the letter. Micah denies this and instead tells them that Argon is an 'old friend' of sorts. After some introductions, Argon blurbs out that Micah is afraid of dragons. Micah is infuriated by this, since she wanted to keep it a secret to avoid worrying the lords, but then begins to explain her fear.

Seeing this as an escape opportunity, Argon darts off to try to catch up with Tybalt, at the cost of sleeping. Indgio asks if they should pursue, but Micah tells him not to. Indigo then begins to question Argon's alliance. He then talks to Micah more about her dracophobia, and then they everyone goes back to camp, except Micah, who goes for a walk instead. Zona then leaves for Atrus. In the meantime, Rubio tries to spread some cheer by sprinkling dandelions on Acen, but ends up falling asleep at his feet.
Will Micah return to camp? Is Zona really going to go back to Atrus? Will Argon's decision to skip sleep come back to bite him? Who is Rubio's sister? Find out next time, on Fire Emblem: Beyond Infinity!

Great as usual, Mr. Productions! Seems Chapter 3 is going to be really interesting, if we don't do a Paralogue or something next week/week after/etc.

(That was WAY too long! So for those of you who don't want a lot to read, here's an extremely brief version.)

Micah and Eltenir are in the mountains, when they encounter Mortem. Kero comes in and tries to eat Eltenir, but stops. Instead, Mortem gives him bread, but Eltenir fights him for it. Mortem uses his dragon powers to try to stop them and scares Micah away. Everyone goes to get Micah and ask why she left, but when Indigo shows up, everyone forgets about her. Mortem starts a forest fire, and everyone tries to put it out.
Meanwhile, Zona has an ecnounter with Argon at a village, and Argon agrees to leave him alone if he lets him go. Zona lets him go and Argon goes back to his camp. After everyone puts out the fire, Infinity comes up to them and admits that she wanted to kill them, but decided not to. The royals get ready to fight her, but Zona stops them and tells them to let her go instead. They let her go, but don't like it.
After that, Argon gets a wyvern rider to bring him to the royal camp so that he can give Micah a note. The rider turns on him because he thinks Argon is joining the royals. The rider calls in backup, but the royals see this and go into battle. During the fight, Zona gets mad at Infinity and goes into a berserker rage. his friends try to stop him, but it doesn't work.
Meanwhile, Argon tries to give Micah the note, but gets struck down by the rider. Micah tries to protect him, and then Acen diverts the rider's attention. The rider loses his wyvern and then starts losing the fight with Acen. Back with Zona, Indigo finally manages to snap him out of his rage by knocking the wind out of him. Back with Acen, he ffers to end the battle peacefully, but gets badly wounded by the wyvern rider. Before he can kill him, Micah and Mortem attack the rider, and a now-healed Argon finishes the job.

After the battle, Argon goes back to the enemy camp and tells Tybalt to go on ahead without him. Tybalt agrees, and Argon goes back to divert the royals. Meanwhile, Indigo tends to Acen's wounds and Zona tries to leave for Atrus, but when Argon arrives at the royal camp, Zona goes back to try and get him.
Zona and Indigo catch Argon, but Micah stops them before they can do anything. Argon spills the beans about Micah's fear of dragons, then runs off as the group is discussing it. Everyone then goes to sleep except for Micah, who is taking a walk, and Argon, who doesn't plan on sleeping.

(Thanks! And...yeah...well, a lot happened in this one. So much so that I went and did two summaries; one standard and one short and skimpy. That way those who have no time can easily read that and get a general idea of what happened.)

(Interesting thought. I could use Argon's lack of sleep against him, so that he thinks he's dreaming when he sees them leaking into the world and when the royals engage them; that is, if they catch up to him. But, I'm sure a few almost-naps would take care of that loophole!)
