I think you should continue on improving your art if you want.

I took a look at your gallery and I commend the effort of improvement. It's great stuff!

Stuff like context, athmosphere and comics work very well together with the improvement of art, especially since clear visuals tell the comic's story.

Honestly, I think your art is very unique and already great. Of course it can improve, as everyone's art can, and I really do enjoy seeing your progress :) Of course, whether or not you want to focus on improvement (you listed some very good areas to work on) rather than comics is your choice. Personally, I would love to see both ;D
