Shadow the Hedgehog arose and floated upwards. His fur suuddenly turned orange, his eyes black, and his skin white. He smiled devilishly.

"Get the f*ck out of here!" Core screeched at the ground.

"Oh God..." Copper murmured, looking up at the hedgehog.

"Sh*t." Cinos whispered.

Esele turned to Aqualia who had chosen to stay furthest back in the whole group. Esele jogged past Cinos, Copper, and Core and grabbed Aqualia's hand.

"C'mon Aqui, we need to leave." Esele whispered to her, hisneyes full of concern. Aqualia didn't move her hand, yet she had a look of protest on her face.

"No, we have to help! I have to help! Please," she pleaded with the president, tearing up. Esele returned the look.

"You've done so much for me, Aqualia. I'm not going to let you die here." Esele stood his ground, blinking out the tears.

"No! Please! I can fight!" Aqualia cried. Esele shook his head and picked her up bridal style, ignoring her cries of protest. Esele choked back tears and carried her out.

"Now for you two! Leave!" Core screamed behind herself as if she was mad at her ex and current girlfriend.

"No! We're going to fight together!" Copper yelled back, her hands becoming surrounded with molten lava and encasing itself with lava rocks.

"Yeah, Core! If one of us goes, all of us do!" Cinos yelled, sparking up her electricity. Core stared at her ex's hands for a few seconds.

"Wait. Can you spread that charge, do you think?" Core asked, and something clicked.

Just then, Shadow let out a powerful bellow. It sounded demonic, angelic, slowed down, sped up, and warped beyond belief all at the same time.

"I AM SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG! SAVIOR OF EARTH!" roared an older and richer voice than the android's, though it came from the android.

"No! I, am Shadow the Hedgehog! Vanquisher of all life forms!" the android screeched, holding his chest in pain.
"Now while he's distracted!" Core shouted, running to the bat and mink.

"YOU HAVE TAKEN WHAT IS NOT YOURS!" said the elder hedgehog.

The younger hedgehog just screamed, folding over with aches surging throughout his body.

"Cinos! Spark us with static electricity!" Copper yelled.

Cinos nodded, finally feeling accomplished. She grabbed Core and Copper's hands and sent sparks through them.

The two didn't change significantly, but there was certainly more power emanating from the two, Cinos could feel it. Core's eyes, markings, and dress pattern turned flaming red. Her skirt also appeared singed. Copper's metal eye and glove crumbled off, and her eyes turned orange.
The Shadow android in front of them began to convulse in midair.
"THIS IS MINE, YOU FOOL! HOW DARE YOU TAKE MY HEART AND EXPECT NOT TO FACE THE CONSEQUENCES!" the elder voice roared.

"You'll kill us both!" the younger one shrieked, scared of the thought of death.
"SO BE IT." the older hedgehog's voice bellowed even louder this time.

"No! No! No..." the hedgehog fell limp for a few seconds.

Then he was reanimated with a jolt, and Copper and Core vanished.

"Did you really think I would allow you help?" the elder voice was gone, now it was only the younger hedgehog's.

Cinos gulped.
