Well we've done a pretty good job keeping it a secret from the outside world until recently; Anne spent the night at a rather gossipy friend of hers, who just so happened to talk to me through Anne's phone and said lots of mean things to me. Which I can take.
However, after going through her phone, she found out about what Anne and I do in our free time...and told all of her [Anne's] friends, who now belittle her in a mean way and kinda pushed her away. So she's pretty much locally friendless now and she doesn't really want to talk about it. But I feel like I need to talk to her about it. The less prominent but main problem here is this:
Currently, Anne has been the only friend I've had since 2009." (cont)

"I don't really remember how to console people who lose friends. But I want to be there for her.
So what should I say to her?"

Having more friends doesn't make someone better at friendship than someone who has one friend. Being a good friend is not measured by quantity and experience won't help you here because everyone is different, therefore every friendship will be different. Anne is like no one else, just as you are like no one else. So just show her you care by your actions. Listen to her, but don't force her to talk. Think about what it would be like for you to basically be told to choose between your best friend and a whole group of friends, because that's what it's like. They won't be friends with her because they don't like you or things about you. Put yourself in her shoes and then just support her. You don't need to be a poet to show you love her.
