Well...i don't exactly know what is insinuated by scars...i got a twisted mind...
But I do know the heart wants what the heart wants. Whether you want to look at guys is up to you. But the heart is an ever evolving muscle that changes tastes quite often. Its how we develop and grow; it just what we do.
So from my pov, yes, your scars can indeed be stitched, but whether it truly heals is up to you, my dear friend. Hope everything is okay~!

The openess of this does leave one to wonder what you mean by "Encounters", if it is just a case of bad relationships I`d say don`t let a few jerks rruin your of an entire gender.
If it`s something more serious than that, then I`d say it`ll take time.
Just try to remember that their behaviour towards you is not limited to their gender, a girl could treat you just as bad.
But in the meantime I`d say enjoy your girlfriends company, after all she cares about you.
