It makes me so happy when artists break away from what they're known for. ^^ Pokemon are great artistic tools to play with shape and form, but too many people allow themselves to be stuck inside that comfort zone forever, and let the complaints of their followers keep them from branching out. So, my point is, it's awesome you're moving on from them! They may be good fun, but it can be way too limiting to stick with fanart all the time. I love/d your pokemon stuff, but I've seen your more recent original art and I love your new direction more. That clouds painting was INCREDIBLE, I'm so envious of your eye for color!

If you're lacking for inspiration, I always look up things I like and throw them together. Animals, nature, buildings, hair styles, fashion design, anything that could spark a new idea! Redoing old art pieces that I was really proud of works, too, sometimes.
