Thanks for the comment! If you want to paint a background you should:
1. Think of the perspective and what it does to the objects. The closer you are to the focus point, the more detailed. Try to get a rough picture how big/small objects in the background will be or it will look wonky and lose the depth of the pic. 2. Dont be scared to paint kind of smudgy, if you use that teq it will look like you focus only on the object that you paint(like my bird). 3. Try to look at other art and real life pictures and copy that! Soon you will get the hang of it!
