O.o An upcoming 24-hour long painting? I don't think I've gone that far in making a pic! Good luck with that!

Re: I would love to help you on your humans! However, I think you've done a pretty outstanding job already - by watching the playback, I was blown away by how well you drew the hands, pose, and coat! I couldn't do any better! x3
One thing I can suggest is to look up pictures of human anatomy (I prefer to use manga-style references because they aren't too realistic but are still anatomically correct), or look at yourself in a mirror. Looking at your own hands obviously helps when drawing them, and I often find myself posing in front of my mirror in order to better visualize how I imagined my character to be posing. Also, looking at pictures of the skeletal system helps a ton when it comes to proportions and anatomy. And this method proves useful when drawing any creature - I actually designed my own dragon skeleton that I use to make my dragons look better!
One thing that is very important to NOT do (although I don't think you did it here, so no worries) is to avoid drawing clothing on your human for the very first sketch. Although it may be awkward to draw your human naked at first, it is extremely critical to make sure your anatomy is correct - you don't want your character to have a broken arm or a stretched leg! Instead of making your character fit into their clothes, make the clothes fit onto your character ;)
That's all I have to say right now, but if you ever need help in the future, just ask! :D

Re: Who says you look weird? I bet you look perfectly wonderful and unique in every way ;)
Of course, when it comes to using manga humans as reference, you need to find the ones that appeal to you the most. Some artists will stress or exaggerate their anatomy for reasons I don't know (like way-too-long legs or oversized heads), so you need to look for the style that you think is most attractive.
Sorry for all these long and wordy comments, I'm not even sure if they make sense xP

Mages are awesome : ) I think I should draw my idea of an echo mage. What do you think?

Well, the name "echo mage" was taken from a fan made strategy in Hearthstone, where mage players would use various minion copying spells like duplicate or echo of medivh to keep the battle in their favor with endless minion clones.

I took the idea a little further and went with any type of wave that can echo (ie: sound waves, light waves, physical waves) And thought "what kind of power would someone have if they could manipulate repeatable actions?"
An example of a powerful sound wave spell would be the ability to absorb a large quantity of sound, then release it all at once in a powerful, concentrated sonic boom. What if you did the same with light waves, and created a.. photonic boom? what would that be like? And what of physical waves like water, or wind? ooooh! Feel the power! >:D
