Basically, listen to everyone except the people who say not to listen to people.
Everyone has different reasons and differents values. That doesn't mean they're wrong.
But also, if someone tries to tell you that drawing is easy and that you should lower your prices because they don't want to pay you decently for a picture of some anime chick wearing some colorful strings, no. They're wrong. Kick them in the teeth.

But what of people who tell others not to listen to themself?
Or in otherwords, say something along the lines of "don't listen to me".

If they say 'dont listen to me' you listen to them HARDER. Those are the people who get brushed to the side by so many people, they assume no one will hear them out

I sometimes struggle with ignoring those who think people's contrasting thoughts don't matter. It does get on my nerves at times... ; U
Still, I do try to focus on disregarding those people. ; )
