These shifters can have a range of markings, all naturally-shaped and can come in most colors. -Clouds:
Large, lateral stripes that follow the flow of the body. These patterns are not only present on the fur, but if you happened to shave these shifters (poor things), the marking would show up on their skin.
-Lateral:
Like clouds, but thinner, and a fur-only marking
-Blobs:
Basically just blocks of color. Usually darker, but can be lighter in some cases. Most often found on the back and tops of legs, but occasionally found on the bottom. If on the bottom, they are always darker.
-Flecks:
Small markings present on tips of fur. Can be sparse or dense
The coats are always unsaturated, and can never be middle-ranged. Either they are light or dark. The colors can be gray, unsaturated blues/blue violets, tans, browns and deep reds (no light reds).
The base might have a gradient to it, but the majority must be basal.
A more physical type of shifter (unlike the magic-based shifters like Wanjin) these creatures can live their full life in either Feral form or Humanoid form without ever changing (though that's very rare to see). They posess dewclaws that wrap around their digitigrade wrists and ankles in both forms, and a large, singular facial horn. Their eyes are large and their pupils thin, perfect for night. They always have thick, warm fur everywhere except the legs. Their ears are long, and their noses are high up on their snout. Their lips are highly mobile and can make a wide range of (sometimes goofy) faces. They have four large tusks, with top in front and bottom in back, and thick, black jowls. Their faces are pug-like and their front teeth poke out. Their torsos are very short and have robust ribs with a lot of room for large stomachs and lungs. Genitals are hidden under fur so I don't have to draw them... (still not done)
-One. This color is too saturated, and middle-ranged. It IS brown, however. -Two. The spots are the same HUE as the base. They either need to be redder or yellower, or a completely different color. They're also too 'perfect' and need to follow the flow of the body. -Three. The bottom tooth should be behind the top, unlike most animals! -Four. The belly cannot be lighter than the base, and even if it could, it should be a different hue. -Five. This eye marking is not natural. It can be painted on, but for a natural marking, this won't do. The pupil should also be slitted -Six. Horns cannot be branched! -Seven. The nostril should be much higher up. Almost as high as its eye. -Eight. The fur is too short. Brrrr -Nine. Way too saturated, and it's still a middle tone. -Ten. These markings are too painted-on looking. -Eleven. Same as ten. Markings should also be a different hue. -Twelve. Horns face forwards -Thirteen. It doesn't have its tusks. How will it impress its mate?
On the yellow no-no, it's also wierdly skinny? Even if it was starving, there are ribs there that prevent it from looking like that. The ribs go almost the whole length of the torso.
