Toren Trudged through the beach sand carrying the dying man. /I dont think this man will make it! but if i get him to the group, peraps someone will know a thing or two about medical teatment and ease his suffering/ Toren thought as he saw the group in the distance.

Sirius was finally in the general area of his eye, identifying things he saw through it. He covered his eye to look through the missing one, it seemed to have moved, as all he could see now was the sand and nothing else.

( @Kole# Aww ok, hope that turtle ends up ok)

(Hmm... most of those present now, myself included, have characters that are part of subplots and haven't yet come across/ aren't currently with the main group... :/ )

Sirius looked around the beach for his eye, he searched the sand but could not find it.

( @Fady It's not a burden at all. cx)

Sirius decided to give up for now as his eye will most likely not get caught by the tide. He decided to walk around aimlessly as he was unsure on what to do.

Raven stared at the petrified person in the distance with an unamused expression before sighing and rolling his eyes. "Alright, if he's not gonna approach me..." He jabbed a thumb over his shoulder in the direction of the survivors' camp. "Camp's up that way; follow the column of smoke," he shouted to the stranger, assuming that he was yet another survivor of the shipwreck.

(Ah Yes Adara! appologies for wrong name spelling.)

Toren rushed over, seeing Adara. "Help! Quick, this man is dying, i dont think he will make it" Toren shouted out. "P-please... listen to - what i have to say . . . " the dying man had reached up grasped Torens shirt in an attempt to gain his attention, obviously drifting away.

Sirius looked off towards the jungle, seeing nearby smoke, or was it far? Having no peripheral vision is not nice. He walked towards it hoping it would be survivors.

Toren layed the man down infront of Adara on the warm sands. He was dressed in fairly normal garb, except for an odd pendant that had the Vale kingdom crest on it. "L-listen. . . I have a favor to - ask of you." He struggled to look up at Toren and Adara. "Its important. . . it could bring about- an end, to this war. . ."

Sirius could hear a nearby voice, he shifted into his feral form and aproached carefully, he could make out the voice better and from the brush saw a girl and a man with horns. He got close but also kept his distance.

Fiacail stared blankly in astonishment. Then he snapped out of his petrified, confused trance as he recognized that the eight-legged boy was attempting to help him. After gathering his bearings a bit more (as well as his heart rate having decently slowed), he simply shouted back,"T-thanks!" Albeit, not without a major crack in his voice, for his tense history with arthropods traced a ways back.

(*insert Malakai finding Sirius's lost eye* Someone needs to find that eye and it isn't going to be Sirius :))

Raven sighed again at the man's obvious terror before heading back towards the camp, although he took a wide detour so that the stranger would not decide to stay away from the camp on the knowledge that Raven would also be there. As he made his way over the sands, he noticed the silhouette of the horned man rushing inland with a heavy burden in his arms. In concern and curiosity, Raven picked up his pace and followed after the faun.

"I-In my satchel. . . theres. . . an Item. P - please, get it to Vales King. . ." The an atempted to reach for his satchel at his waste weakly. Toren reached into the satchel and pulled out a small package wraped in cloth that was now soaked with sea water. "I- i cant give you. . . m-much more information. . . only that you must - protect it. . with . . . your . . life"

Sirius with his hightened hearing heard a very faint cry for help. He now knew where others were so he quickly ran back to shore to find the source of the cry. He arived at the shore to see someone laying on the sand. He shape shifted back to humanoid form and aproached the distressed person. "Are you ok?"

As he lied there, Malakai hear footsteps quickly appraoch him and then a voice ask if he was alright. "N-n-no" he shivered "I can't feel my legs"

Toren held the mans hand feicely until it sliped from his grasp as the man drew his last breath. Toren looked up at Adara with a concerned look, holding the package in one hand.
"What now?" he asked.

He emerged from his temporary refuge within the recesses of some foliage and veered to face the lush forest that lay nearer the center of the isle. Fiacail tilted his head upward in an effort to scan the cumulus-laden, tangerine-azure sky in search of the telltale plume of the signal fire the intimidating centaur had mentioned, blowing air in order stir his wispy bangs from his face to aid in his observation.

"Don't worry you'll be fine!" Sirius said as he helped him up, getting him out of the water.

(Wait rewriting that)

Raven arrived at the makeshift camp just in time to witness the man that Toren had carried breath his last. He slowed to a stop and watched the group in silence, unsure of the situation before him. Finally he spoke up. "Who was he?" he inquired unobtrusively as possible.

(Ack sorry Kole)

As the person helped him up and out of the water, he glanced up at him and noticed the animal like features. "Thank you" he rasped.

Sirius looked at the man he just saved, he wore an eyepatch, thinking 'Cool Eyepatch!'
"You're welcome, I saw a camp nearby with other survivors nearby, do you have the energy to move?"

"Hmmm well.... he looks like an ordinary man, although... his pendant would suggest that hes was from Vale." Toren responded to Raven. then looked to Adara. "And yea i suppose so. . . though... i wonder what it is . . ." Toren looked at the package, tempted to open it.

Finally glimpsing a contrasting, dark cloud dyed deep purple by the morning sun, he grinned victoriously. Suddenly, a thought occured to him./I infer that if I arrive in relation to that smoke, I will discover my former damsels in distress. No doubt, it must be the survivors. And with that, the confident shapeshifter ambled towards his pinpointed location.

"I can only move my arms, my legs are too numb, I can't move them yet" he growled, angry at his own uselessness.

Toren stood up as well. "Yea... we also need to figure out how to get off this island... and if this thing is that important..." he motioned to the item in his hand."we should figure out a way fast..." toren sighed. looking to both Raven and Adara. "We should get the others together, and make sure we have found everyone."

Sirius spoke up "Then I'll carry you!" Sirius lifted the man and started walking towards the camp.

Raven eyed the package in curiosity, but figured that it was best left unknown for the moment. "I can help," he offered to Adara, although his eyes averted away from hers when he spoke. He didn't have the courage to say so, but he felt obliged to find a way to apologize for attempting to ambush her.

"Thanks" Malakai tried to suppress another shiver and failed as the stranger started carrying him. "My name's Malakai, but you can just call me Kai if you want to, most do"

After a moment of thought, Raven stepped towards the edge of the jungle-like forest before returning with an armful of large, wide leaves, slits decorating their edges. "These should serve as a good roof to a shelter," he stated. "They are water-proof, and we'll save wood this way."

( @Kole#: Ikr? XD

Toren noticed Adara focus on something and turned to see the distant figues. He watched them, yet in the backk of his mind could not get the thought of the mysterious item out of his head. /something that could end this foresaken war? what is it, how?/ he had so many qustions that he could no longer ask the man. perhaps the king could shed some truth, buut first, they would have to get there. and if this item is that important, it would be a difficult task.

"Well Malakai, my name is Sirius, and I promise you'll be ok!"
Sirius finally got to the camp saying only one thing, "Yes hello we're survivors this dude needs help!" He set down Malakai to let him rest.

(Also guys im gona have o head it soon! :( Im note sure how long ill be gone, if i can make it back we can continue. feel free to go on for a short while while im gone, if im not back then ill post an update sometime in the week!)

Fiacail clambered up a small rise in the now earthy terrain and descended into a path brimming with trees, dappled sunlight playing upon his features. He quickened his pace, as he had almost arrived at the campsite: that much was given through how near the smoke appeared now. Abruptly stopping short, he then considered the circumstances; he'd come as a stranger to them. He decided on a more cautious approach, proceeding in his gait more slowly. Pure shock coursed through him once more as he first noticed a collapsed man within the camp, apparently dead, he concluded chillingly. He resorted to shelter once again, this time behind a nearby willow. /I let them alone for a few hours and they've already gone mad! Any more of these dreaded surprises, and I'm bound to have a heart attack!/ His hands trembled, though he became a bit more hopeful in spotting some herbs at the man's side. A certain figure then caught his attention, completely directing him away from the odd appearances of the-

"Thanks Sirius" Malakai groaned.
As they appraoched what looked like a camp, Malakai felt Sirius lower him to the ground, Malakai laid down and let out a quiet sigh of relief, he closed his eyes and started to relax.

Sirius looked up at the others in the camp. "Hello, My name's Sirius and he's Malakai, i'll assume you're all survivors too right?"

Raven placed the tropical leaves on the ground. "We can also find a shelter in the forest," he suggested. "There are likely caves or large canopies that would provide shelter for our numbers. However," he warned, "there are bound to be poisonous bugs that I'm sure only I would be immune to, and other survivors would only spot us if we were out in the open." Raven shrugged and looked to Adara for her opinion.

His smitten daze caused him to trip on a fallen bough, landing face-first. /Well, isn't this fantastic?/ he grumbled silently, knowing his presence to no longer be secret.

"Hello Adara!" Sirius smiled. "That's a nice name and I love your hair! Now when you guys where at shore did you see an eyeball? I searched for it and didn't find it, and I would apreciate regaining my peripheral vision." Sirius said all this as he pulled out his compact staff from his poncho. Extending it and leaving it by Malakai's side incase he needed support for walking.

Raven blinked at the three newcomers, then recognized the person that he had directed to the camp, except now he was laying face-first in the sand. Raven couldn't help but roll his eyes a second time. //So he's clumsy as well as extremely arachnaphobic?//

( @pedro: It's a bummer that nobody has gotten the chance to see Sirius's eye randomly laying around yet...)

Sirius looked toward the fallen newcomer. "Yeah an eye! See!" He pointed to his empty eyesocket, it was almost bowl shaped, just empty space for a missing eyeball.

( @Kole#: Okay then!)

Sirius decided to demonstrate, he pulled out his current eye and grabbed a nearby stone juggling the 2. "They're detachable!" He said this with a smile and threw the stone and eye into the air. "Come back to me my eye!" The stone landed on the ground and his eye right back in his right socket.
"You won't believe how often I lose them, haha!"

(Sirius is based off the Native American Coyote Trickster which is where I got the detachable eyes idea)

Malakai shifted a bit, his hand bumped a stick by his side. He rolled over a notiiced it was more like a staff, he sniffed and caught Sirius' scent on the staff. He grabbed onto it with his good arm and attempted to prop himself up.

Managing to slightly lift his face off the ground, he coughed up dust. "Salutations..." he trailed off.

Sirius waved. "Hello new friend, I noticed you earlier because you smell," he paused "Fishy! Ha, you could be a better hider but oh well." Sirius began to juggle his eye and stones again.

(Also, I don't know how much longer I'll be on. xc My 3DS is almost out of battery, and the USB port's been messed up for a year or so, so it doesn't charge normally. A Nyko PowerPak replaces the system's battery, and it can only fully charge in a cradle. Unfortunately, I can't be on it in that time... Pardon if I abruptly stop commenting altogether, as it's probably due to that. :/)

Raven stared with slight disgust at Sirius's peculiar display before focusing his sharp gaze on the sea-drenched and sandy boy who was making an attempt to stand up. Gesturing to the fire, he addressed the boy. "Come over here. The heat will do you some good."

(lets just say...) Toren was zoned out during all this, in his own world as he carfully stared at the object in his grasp. So very tempted to open it.

(Hi, KJ! :D If you're curious, Fiacail finally came upon the group. cx)

( @KJumper: That works. XD)

(as a dragon hes naturally obsessed with/protective of treasure, so getting lost in his own thoughts and desires is not too unlikely for him when holding something of great value, though he tries to fight it.)

"Alright" Malakai choked out as he tried getting up, his legs wobbled and he collapsed back onto the ground with a grunt.

Sirius stopped juggling and aproached Toren. "Hey there horns, what's your name!" Noting how he was just staring at the satchel in his hands the whole time.

( @pedro: Horns. Nice nickname. XD)

Using a bit of strength to rise entirely from where he'd fallen, he finally took into account the physical appearances of the rest of the crew, slightly startled to find the spider boy among them. Though not to say the others weren't as equivalent in peculiarity. Wobbling a bit, still a tad dizzy, he nodded and made his way to sit cross-legged beside the fire. Never had he thought a blaze to be so blissful... his thoughts immediately drifted to the dazzling young woman once again.

Toren was jolted out of his daydream by the sudden question. He quickly took note that their tiny group had expanded somewhat, "huh, oh uh, Toren. Toren Shale." Toren replyed to the coyote man, squinting his ice colored eyes in question when he noticed there was only one eye looking back.

( @Whaley: That is so adorable of him <3)

Toren reached for a handshake. "Nice to meet you Toren, that's a nice name, I'm Sirius, and I don't have a last name." He said this awfully cheery.

( @Fady He is very adorkable indeed. x 3 Cunning, sarcastic, tech-savvy, yet has a soft spot that at times is not so hidden.)

(I think he'd try pickup lines but would falter awkwardly in the middle of the sentence. XD)

Malakai stretch his hands out over the fire, he quickly started warming up from the heat. His bad arm ached a dull pain, he started flexing his fingers. His strength was coming back slowly.

( @Fady Well, y'know what they say: opposites attract! :D I think it makes for better storytelling, actually.)

"Uh, yea." Toren shook his hand, "Pleasure." He then doubble checked himself to make sure his gem was still hidden. "well, we've got a fair sized group here now" Toren looked passed Sirius to two other newcomers, one seemingly injured or exhausted. "You know them?" Toren asked Sirius.

Malakai glanced around at everyone through hooded eyes, it's not that he was distrustful, he just wanted to be cautious.

Sirius replied, "The wounded one in red is Malakai and the other I honestly don't know."
Sirius reached into his poncho's inner pocket pulling out a canteen of water. "Speaking of water I'm thirsty!" He drank a minute amount of water leaving the canteen three quarters full.

"U-uh..." Fiacail blurted suddenly, facing her. "I am accustomed to the topography of this island as th-though it were the b-back of my very hand." It was true. His foster pod stopped here often.

(Sirius has many things in his pockets)

Toren glanced at the short one siting by the fire. /Malaki was it?/. He seemed to be quie cautious of the situation, and Toren wondered how young he was due to his size. He wandered over to the fire and sat down across from Malaki. Then quietly watched the goings on of the others as the discussed how to get food and water.

Sirius put away the canteen.
"I've read books and learned what plants aren good and bad via trial and error, I can help with that."

(ive never actually mentioned anything about Torens sword. i have it in his ref, but its still on his back i guess.)

"I'm Raven," he replied before taking a few steps away from te treeline. He squinted at the sun as he took in the silhouetted shape of the island. "See that incline there?" he said as he pointed to a dip on an elevated part of the island. "Rainwater will likely gather there, then run in a south-western direction. We could find a stream of fresh water in that direction," he deducted as he followed the slope of the island with his finger.

[Sirius has infinite space in his poncho (somehow) like, he can store a '10 pole if he wanted]

( @Kole: Haha, no worries, I also just remembered that I had forgotten to mention that Raven had taken his cloak off... oh well, I'm pretty sure nobody even remembers that he had it on. XD)

(You can delete this, but I just wanted to let you know that I'm just waiting for my 3DS to charge a bit before RPing again. Thanks! <: ) )

Toren looked once again at the item wrapped in his hand, and then burried it deep within his pockets. He figured he could hold off the dragons temptation for a while longer. He then took the long sword still in its sheath off his back and began to clean off the sand on the outside before unsheathing it and cleaning it delicatly. He didnt want the sand that got caught inside the sheith to dull the swords edge.

(I also just remembered that Raven has a knife on his back and a saddle bag strapped to his cephalothorax...)

Sirius commented, "Well hello to you Raven, that's a cool name, and you look cool too!"

Sirius pulled out his canteen. "I have some water for now, but if you need to collect water!" Sirius reached into his pockets pulling out canteens for everyone "I have these, I stole them from a vendor that assaulted a nice lady once. There's a lot of mean vendors in Escade, but I think the woman was a worker on strike, I honestly don't remember! Also, other than the obviouslly needed essentials, don't forget my eye!"

(Sirius has his extending staff, but he's capable of fighting withought it.)

Raven gaped at Sirius like he had grown another ear. "How did you even...?" he trailed off in utter confusion.

Sirius commented, "I'm not a good builder, the children of Excade can comment on that if they were here hehe, but I can travel quickly to get water, and get food, I can store it all in my poncho!" Sirius pulled out a large empty bag, it was folded to fit into the pocket. "Should we use this or nah?"

(Good ol trickster characters *lenny face*)

"I can help build the shelter" Toren volenteered, sheathing his sword now that it was sparkling, clean of the sand. "You should rest," he motioned to Malaki before etting back to his feat. "Its going to be getting dark soon, and you seem cold."

(Let's pretend he just stays to build the shelter)

"Wait," Raven interrupted. "There are likely many dangers including monsters and poisonous insects in that forest. Does anybody here have knowledge on healing or medicines, in case somebody is injured or poisoned? We can't risk lives like this."

(yup, im starting to run out of battery too. do you guys want to call it quits for now?)

(Phew! I've returned! My 3DS shut down on me... xc)

Fiacail turned his head away, his cheeks flushing in embarrassment. /Huh... and so her first impression of me must border along the line of lunatic. I apparently must've given a vibe that I thought she was incapable.../ Instead, he shifted his focus to a faun-like creature who was the apparent leader of the bunch."I'm Fiacail..." he uttered faintly, though loud enough so that all could hear.

"...And yes, there are venomous beetles, though only on the westernmost side of the isle. I know of basic remedies... my... family taught me..."

(Okay, then! ^-^)

Sirius shrugs, he was unfamiliar with things outside of Escade.
(I'm ok stoppung here, this was fun, question, because I'm on spring break, is anyone else on break? We could probably rp some time this week (: )

(Anyway, I look forward to roleplaying with all you lovely people again next week! :D Toodles! Who even says that anymore? XD)

(well, my spring break was last week, so ill probably be busy, but i might be able to on thhe thursday . . . maaaaybe. And alright! we will pick this up where we have left off next week!)

(I'm homeschooled, so any day should be fine, but mondays and tuesdays are usually busy for me...)

(I just realized that our characters totally abandoned the Vale guy's body on the ground... we don't even bother to properly bury him! 'XD)

(XD OMG... I think the the group will, eventually, but it's kinda funny how the newest additions are being introduced whilst ignoring a dead body just lying there on the ground. X'D)
