OC-itis by Whoever

Many artists love to design Original Characters but don´t know what to do with them. These OCs end up appearing in group shots, art trades etc. but they never actually play a significant role somewhere.
I alway wanted to avoid that but it turns out that writing stories just to give your OCs something to do isn´t always the best idea...
Anyways, I´m not sure if I´ll draw my OCs more or less now.
But I did redesign some of them for this.

Sorry if this comes off as a bit ranty. I just think that I´ve been treating my own ideas rather badly. Maybe I´m gonna let my OCs do more "OC-things" in the future.

My poor OCs...

They say form follows function. In this sense you build on the why to whom they are and you grasp the form naturally. At least that's how my OCs seem to work. Remember "Robots"? "See a need, fill a need."
