Argon: Revisited by Jon Corp Productions

I spent half an hour trying to cross those arms, and they still look odd. Darn you, arm-crossing! Why do you have to look cool but be so hard to draw!?
Lamentations aside, this is another (far better) drawing of my #FEBI character: Argon, The Traveling Sellsword. To view info about him, refer to the original post: #ArgonFE

Nice job! Hey, crossed arms are a challenge at times. Don't worry.

Ooh, the cross arms. They can be a nuisance to draw because they really change the way the length the arms look.
I say you get a good 2/3 succession.
:)
Hint: That center chestplate's lining serves as a great guide for where the elbow could have bent.
:]
Oh, and nice sunny day shinethrough effect!

Crossed arms! My only weakness!
In all seriousness, I think you did a pretty good job with them! The lighting looks pretty good as well.

You draw crossed arms better than me

A great way to get the angling is to take yourself, and study how you cross your arm, viewing in a mirror, maybe even taking a picture of yourself or your bro?

And yes, what the above said is actually pretty sound, Argon's left bicep would be angled forward more, with the elbow meeting at the breastplate, resulting inna more realistic arm-cross.

I'm glad you take artistic and anatomy critism with good learning and an upward chin. Not many artists can or choose to do that. Props to you for that.

I suck at anatomy but there are a few variations of arm crossing which can showcase different emotions.

For example: In this picture, because of his arm placement, it sort of looks like he's shivering or shy(ish). If you wanted him to have a more cross appeal, then I would have placed the hand that is currently grasping the arm om the inside of the arm.

I probably explained that badly, but the human body is quite a mystery.

Argon is looking great, man! : )

I struggle with drawing crossed arms, too... ; O

Re: Kinda, kinda not? I really just took the quote. But I encourage (I think I spelled that way wrong.) you to do those though!
