Okay, so ask whatever questions you're burning to know, and I'll comment in THIS comment section with my reply. (I will NOT reply directly on one of your paintings)
I'm going to go ahead and answer one question right off the bat.
Q-"Are they an open species?"
A- No, they are not, and I don't plan on making them an open species. I feel that too many people will alter their shape and appearance or give them too many rare attributes.
Now, go ahead and ask away!

@ScribbleWolf Nyrahs social groups are more like packs, however they're a bit like a mixture of both pack and pride. The strongest nyrah male or female will lead. All nyrahs remain together, except for the bulkier ones, who will remain as guards for the smaller ones. Emperor nyrahs will always be a leader in a group of regular nyrahs.
Hope that was a good enough response! ^w^

what rare traits can they have, and how many?

@Kitsukii Nyrahs have very short tails, however depending on the length of the fur on their rumps, their tails can appear longer than they actually are.
Nyrahs could technically get 2 tails if they had any sort of genetic mutation causing their spine to split at the end. Most only have one tail.

@xXKyraxah-GoldPawsXx
Nyrah's rare traits can range from two sets of ears to having curly fur. There's almost no limit to what a nyrah could look like, whether it'd be a birth defect or a genetic mutation, nyrahs physical outcomes are endless.
Each nyrah can carry as much as five or six rare traits, however it can range to much more. Some could be nearly impossible to get with every odd or rare trait they have on them.
I hope that answer sastisfied you! ^w^

@ScribbleWolf
There are albino nyrahs, however that's one of the least likely traits for a nyrah to have. Any nyrah stripped of its bright colors is very unlikely to find a mate, as they use their colors to attract one.

@Kitsukii
I've never made a "How to" video on here. If you need any help drawing a nyrah, go through my drawings of them and press play. I will probably make a "how to draw a nyrah" in the future depending on how many people want it.
There is a slight change with the girls and boys. Aside from their reproductive organs, male nyrahs tend to have larger eyebrow dots or markings than the females.
Nothing too special about them, except for they can make a variety of noises. They can meow, hiss, squeak, bark, growl, purr, and much more. Nyrahs can vary from size to size, and some can be bulkier or leaner thsn others. Art-wise, nyrahs are special because of their simple, yet colorful designs.
