Practice: Legs and shading by Jon Corp Productions
I recently noticed that I suck at drawing legs, so I had a practice session (yet I ended up neglecting the arms). At the same time, I worked on shading strategies. Holy carp, this looks like it came out of Unity (or whatever 3D graphic-creating engine you're familiar with)! I suppose that's better than my previous shading technique.
Don't be afraid to criticize, because it should help me to refine my strategies and create a better product!

comparing the torso size, the legs need to be longer.
Oh, anatomy tip! Did you know that the length of your arms are about the same length as your legs? And that if you put your arms out to your sides, and you measured from your fingertips to fingertips, it is roughly your height in length?

Honestly, those legs don't look too bad! I usually struggle with drawing accurate ones, too. X )

I remember I had somewhat the same problem..
Hmm... The legs are too short; consider extending them a bit longer and relative to other parts of the body.
The thighs look pretty good, but don't be afraid to experiment with size!
And the shading seems like something you hammered down!

And those doodles; it was more of a "get them on your 3DS before you lose the reference sheets" kinda thing.
