When I was a little kid, a neighborhood friend gave me her old GameboyCOLOR and it had a Pokemon game in it :D I didnt know what Pokemon were at the time xD I played it but i ended up rage-quitting in some kind of Poke-Training dojo thing...I traded in the game the next day T^T
Years later, I discover what Pokemon are and Im searching for that game with faint memories of the Jigglypuff in the intro, the dojo, a weird looking tree that ended up being a Pokemon, and Cyndaquil.

Then suddenly Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow come to the 3DS! I flipped out thinking that Blue was the one I played, but suddenly a memory of a purple weird-looking monkey came to mind - and it was Aipom. "IT 'TWAS IN COLOR!" I squealed. "I FORGOT THERE WERE OTHER VERSIONS!" And off I go to Google, searching intro after intro of Pokemon Gold, Silver, HeartGold, SoulSilver, Diamond and Pearl.
I was losing hope.
BUT WHATS THIS!?
After searching images for the final choice - Pokemon Crystal - I find the dojo that caused eight year old me me to rage-quit the game. I look closer - THE SIGN. THE LOG PATTERNS. THE SEVERAL STORIES SURROUNDED BY PIXELATED PINE TREES. Could it be!? An idea came to me.

BEHOLD - THERE IT IS. The tree I stood in front of four hours trying to get it to move!
My virtual childhood has returned so I may have a second chance.

I got the pokemon yellow version from an old thrift store and a game boy color.

oh cool, I didn't learn about pokemon until gen 5, so my first game was Black ver.(not the 2nd one) and then soon I got Soul Silver.
huzzah for Gen 2!!

oh, and just one more thing.
about Sudowoodo... not to brag or anything, but if you think 4 hours is bad, I got stuck trying to move that thing for 2 or more years. ;u; not even kidding.
...then I had my sister play the game for just 10 minutes, and she then immediately found out how to move it.

re: I don't ship them but I do ship Crona and Maka, and Soul and Maka, who else got mad as heck in that one part on the last episode when it looked like she was going to kiss Soul and then just put her head on his?! WHY MAKA U WOULD BE THE BEST OF BUDS!!!! friendship is good maka......... :T

Yep crystal was gen 2 in the Johto region. I'm trying to get Pokemon X tho. :3
