Hello everyone.I apologize for my tardiness.I ran into some trouble on the way here.

"I must clarify- it was less of an attack and more of an attempt at regicide. The only result of which was my scar, an injured civilian, and the death of the guard I was speaking to.. Though it could have been much worse."

"Hmm could they possibly the same ones making trouble as of late?
Ah Acen welcome in. Feel free to grab a drink and relax."

Mortem:*walks in with a cooked chicken*

"Prince Acen! I am glad you could make it. Though, what kind of trouble did you get into?
I doubt it, as it was a month or two later before the brigands making trouble now appeared, and it was only four people that attacked me."

"No, I never caught her name. All the information I was given was that she had brown hair, was young, and had a bit of a additude. Other than being an Avian and coming from an attack on the Avian Castle, she gave no other information to my clerics. She did however warn that the attack was over, and to not come for extra aid. I ignored that and ordered a small troop to come to the Avian border, but I was informed they were tirned away being assured all was under control. Though I'd've thought an attack on the lady of Avia would've caused more of an alarm.

To be honest, I had only assumed the outside of the Avian castle had been attacked, not the thrown!"

"Ace! Erm, Lord Acen. Good to see you, my friend! Is all well?"

"Pardon, did I hear you correctly? That couldn't be right. By any chance, was she wearing primarily blue? Perhaps with light armor?"

????:*opens the door slightly * pardon my intrusion Lady Oriale ,Lady Amber , Lady Alice, Lord Acen and lord Indigo but have you seen lord Auburn ? i was suposed to escort him but suddenly he raned away..

-Rubio hears some chatter near the Trinity hall. He begins to stealthily crawl, making sure he is not to be seen. He peers through a window and eyes the delicious meat and drink, and having an enormous appetite, attempts to snab a few goodies for himself-

"Yes. I hope you are right.
It is strange, though.. Before just recently, Micah had been just a theif. She had not hurt anyone, at least not to my knowledge. I didn't even know her name for a time, as she wasn't a problem. But, since the attack, I have heard many claims of her being a part of it. That is how I know her- and I'm beginning to think those claims are true. Now I hear that she has been sighted with the Avian brigands that I'm sure we all know of."

"I guess that is a reasonable assumption, Indigo, but I don't understand why she would do it."
*Oriale Glances around*
"Did you hear something over by where the food is? Could I have imagined it?"

*CRASH*

"Ah! We have more pegasi learners? I didn't know we had so many pegasi... Did we get them from Avia? I wasn't aware.

"Acen, I meant how do you know this is the same person? How do you know the wounded civilian is a thief? We don't even know if the two are related."

"So that's how... But that still doesn't mean the Avian civilian in Valon was this Micah. The only thing is she knew aboutnthe attack, and if she was the one who took down the other three... it could be true. Who is she?-

*Stares at Rubio for a moment*
"That's.. A butter knife. And your age does not matter now. I'm just wondering why you are here. And under the table."

"I only saw it for a second but it knocked down a pan. It was a huge shadow too. Like a beast."

-Yells- I'M NOT YOUNG EITHER! I'LL PROVE IT -Pulls out knife and starts waving it in the air-

"Also what is this little boy doing under the table?"

Mortem chuckles at the proceeding events (sorry I was got I just got conquest)

"Hey, no need to threaten anyone with a butter knife. There is nothing wrong with being younger than us.

Never mind, we definitely have not found the shadow, Amber. You did not happen to see what kind of beast it was, did you?"

"Would anyone like something else to drink, perhaps tea? I was just going in to make some... If its safe that is"

*grabs the knife*

-Gets out of breath very quickly and begins to paw at the cakes that are out of reach- "I-i want it!"

"I believe, young sir, that you are about 2 feet tall, which compared to most adults, your claim is not likely."

I wouldn't repost an RP, but I would comment, notify, or PM every interested member I can to tell them it'd be starting soon. Or I'd ask for help (like when @Nintenartist notified Ace). I see you've noticed my main problem. Whenever I draw legs, they always end up being too short. Maybe next time I should turn the 3DS sideways and then draw it out.

Re to a re to a re:
One problem with that: the length remains the same, and since I'm "short on height", more length would do me good. A sideways screen would add length (yet subtract width, but that doesn't bother me) without requiring me to scale down the drawing. Then again, scaling wouldn't be all that bad...

The whole idea behind the waiting thing is that I believe it will add more "F.E. authenticity" if I'm not immediately part of the story. That way, it'll feel more like an installment because of the "recruit more units as you progress" system.

Plus, with all the other characters right now, it seems awfully chaotic. Adding more right now will only make it crazier.

Anyway, I wasn't playing Fates xD I haven't at all today. I was watching the Gunvolt 2 trailer on eShop earlier, and I was drawing something after that. When I said I had to "do something first", I went bike riding with my bros before the sun set (it was really nice out) but now I'm back!)

The general hope is that if you have your first OC as like, a general or high up in one country, you don't make another OC the same in another country, cuz that'd be weird if for some reason there was say, a battle between kingdoms, and you played as an advisor for both sides?? That wouldn't work out so well. That's why us lords aren't doubling as other lords or high up in each others' kingdoms.)

*Barges into room*
Brycen: My liege! are you harmed?! I heard a baby crying! Those bandits will die...*draws blade from arm sheath*

Oriale: "Careful! You're right in the line of fire!"
*Flies over to Indigo and Rubio* (Slight reminder that Oriale is a Pegasus Knight/Lord)
"Ten versus two.. Where are the other lords? We could use their assistance right now..."

Indigo: "Brycen! Thank the gods you've come. Take Rubio" *hands Rubio to Brycen* "Bring him to safety, then help us!

Oriale: "Never mind, three.
We can introduce ourselves later.. The battle is nigh!"

Micah: "Hyah!" *Swings at Indigo and misses*

Indigo: So you must be the infamous thief we heard about. I've never come to meet face to face with you before, but it seems our meeting is on rough terms. I will defend if I must."

Indigo: "(Zona looks angry, yet calm. He is one mysterious individual...) That's two down. We need to break the line to reach Gelvak!"

Gelvak: I can hear you, blue hair! Aim for the blue one, boys!"

Bandit: "Um, sir? There are two blues... which are you referring to?"

Gelvak: URGH! The one NOT on a pegasus!!"

Bandit: "A-ah!"

Brycen: SOMEBODY! WHAT DO I DO??? IT HAS EXCRETED!!!

Indigo: "Brycen- agh.. We'll worry about that later! Just put him somewhere safe and help us!"

(Well, I know Fates' Freeze, which stops a singular unit (or two if they are paired up in guard stance, I guess) but I was unaware older FE games had Freeze.)

Indigo: "Oriale, I've got your back, you lead the front, unless you wish to switch!"

Brycen: Understood my liege. *hides Rubio in shin aria of left pants leg* hide little warrior. I might call upon you later...keep all brigands alive Lord Indigo?

Indigo: "I-I'm not sure that's an entirely safe place to put him, Brycen. But yes, disarm the bandits, but spare them.

And Brycen, when I mean disarm, I mean remove their ability to fight, I do not mean to rip their arms off."

Micah: *Runs over to Zona* "Wrong move, pal! Now let 'em go!"
*Slashes at him*

*walks up to bandits* *one by one, pulls away they're weapons and throws them, grabbing two of the bandits and placing them under Brycen's arm like a newspaper*

As the fighting rages, a lone figure can be seen watching in the distance. He's armed, yet his sword remains in its scabbard. AS he watches the battle, he mutters to himself:
"Look what the boss has gotten himself into now. If I'm not mistaken, those are royals. The brigands don't stand a chance."

Indigo: "W-well I guess that settles that... Oriale!! *blocks from an incoming hand axe*"

*Smiles a toothy grin up at Brycen but starts panicking because he realizes he doesn't have his knife* "Big man! My butter nife!"

He continues:
"Though they're being attacked with intent to kill, the royals don't appear to be striking back. Only weakening them up. Alright, I think it's time. If the boss survives the fight, I'm going to question his intentions. I understand taking revenge and 'settling unpaid debts'. Heck, half of my jobs are like that. But this appears to be all-out murder and robbery, with no other intentions."

*runs in front of Zona, and draws sword from arm*
Back down, Micah! I do not want to HAVE to hurt you!

"If he actually succeeds with this, he'll go down as the biggest, baddest criminal out there, and I'll be his affiliate. That's not how I wish to be known. But perhaps the royals have done him wrong somehow. Perhaps they've mistreated him and his gang. I don't really know much about the lords here, but I guess that's why I need to question him. Prepare yourself, Gelvak. For questioning.

Oriale: "You have my gratitude! Looks like we are making short work of these bandits, what worries me is Gelvak and Micah. We are lucky they don't seem to work well together, or we may have a problem on our hands."

*Pinches the bandits underneath Brycen's arm and giggles when they squeal in surprise and torment* "Funny!"

Micah: -Under breath- "If it were my choice, I wouldn't fight you, pal." *Looks around* "Gods, we're surrounded. Guess this is it."

Gelvak: "Erm... We seem to be losing. You bunch of weaklings are a sorry excuse for a gang! Seems I'll throw myself into the fray! *draws axe up* Hyah!"

Brycen: ARGH!! *holds left rib area*

Micah: *Feigns right, then dashes to Indigo's left and swipes at him* "Hyah!"

Micah: *Cant move because of Kurai* "GAH! Gods.. What ever happened to one on one?
Alright, do what you will. I can't really stop you, after all."

Indigo: Zona! What honor is there in a duel if a third party disadvantages one side? Release her, please. This is the only way I may get any questions answered... I'll be alright, I am a dragonkin."

Brycen: You scoundrel! HRUA!! *thrusts sword towards Gelvak*

Micah: *Her face goes pale.* "Dragonskin..?"

The figure moves in closer.
"This folly isn't getting anywhere. Perhaps I should step in."

"Can't get too close, though. What good is a surprise entrance if they see me coming?"

Indigo: "Zona? Please..."

Gelvak: *dodges right but gets nicked on his right side* "URK! Yer a true warrior! Perhaps it wasn't such a great idea to come here, but I'll take this duel to it's fullest! Come at me!! *swings in a fury high*

Micah: *Stands up* "Okay.. Where were we?" *There was a hint of hesitance in her stance*

Oriale: "Brycen, I'll honor this duel. But, if anything happens, we're here to help fight him off."

Indigo: "Thank you, Zona..."

"Right... *flips duciel around in a wheel spin and then grips tight in ready posture* Ready."

Gelvak: "Ah! Ye wanna join in, 'eh, queen? I can take you both on!!"

*Brycen's shoulder gets cut* *ducks, and rolls away from the fury of his blade. then throws his shield at Gelvak's lower back*
Brycen: You should have never come here, wretch!

Gelvak: "HAHG!! You are quick for such a large bodied man! Y-you also have a way with words, for a royal's puppet!" *swings axe low*
(bro, he has an axe, not a sword. "rolls away from the fury of his blade"?)

"Look at him, swinging like crazy. No control."
The figure reaches into his pocket
"I've been saving these for a "special occasion", and this definitely seems special enough. Just have to wait for the right moment..."

Micah: *Glances over at Gelvak's fight, then back at Indigo* "Right. Let's go." *Jumps up and slices at Indigo*
Oriale: "Brycen! All right, enough!" *Flies over to Gelvak and knocks him off balance with the shaft of her lance* "Now, strike when you can!"

"Hm, that pegasus might ruin it. I should find a way to disable its wings."

Indigo: "Now, I know you were the one who attempted to steal *deflects attack* from the Xalysian treasury, and you were *deflects attack* involved in the attack on Queen Oriale. But what I must know is *deflects attack* why you *deflects* saved her from your *delects* the other assassins *deflects* dang you're quick!"

Gelvak: "Huff! *topples over, scrambling for footing*

Gelvak: "Little Queen is a mischievious one!" *gets up*

Micah: *Swings* "I have *Swings* no idea *Swings* what you're talking about. *Swings* All part of the job description, pal. *Swings* A slow theif *Swings* is a dead one."

(btw Sora, you can still RP, just the duel with Micah is a duel. We aren't trying to leave you out or anything. That's why I made sure Gelvak wasn't in a one-on-one either.)

Brycen: ORIALE, GRAB RUBIO AND RUN!!!

Upon reaching Gelvak, he shouts:
"Brigands, withdraw and regroup!"
He then pulls several spheres from his pocket.

Oriale: *Falls off of her pegasus* "Gods, no! Your wing.."

He throws the spheres onto the ground. They explode, creating powdery smokescreens.
"Gelvak, you've been frozen. I'll carry you out!"

Indigo: *stops with sword down* "So... were you the one who came to the Valonian border and was brought to the capitol for healing in the clergy House? I had heard of a young woman who arrived from Avia then, being treated by our healers, but she vanished before I could meet her... was that you?"

"What?! My body's stiffened! Ngh! Brigands, get Gelvak out of here! Forget about me!"

*grabs Gelvak by the throat with both hands, and lifts him up*
I, am tired of your villainy.
*slams Gelvak into the floor*

Micah: *Turns away from Indigo* "Argon! What are you doing?! You were supposed to stay out of this raid!"

Indigo: *jerks his glance over to where the explosion came from* "What?!"

Gelvak: "Heh..."

Micah: "Look, I'm sorry. Our duel has to wait. You'll get your answers." *Runs over to Zona and knocks him down with the hilt of her sword* "Go! I can handle this one!"

"Thief girl, get Gelvak out of here! Leave me, for I'm just hired help! They can't get anything important out of me!"

Thinks to himself:
"Gotta take out that magic-user. He has a freezing staff!"

Micah: "Not again...
Argon! Gelvak escaped! I can cover you from here, now go!"

*the smoke had cleared. The bandits escaped along with Gelvak*

Indigo: "Oriale! Are you alright?!" *drops to his knee to get her up*

Oriale: "I'm.. I'm fine. Though, I cannot say the same for my dear Pegasus.."

(The freezing effect only lasts a turn or so right? Similar to a Freeze staff in Fates?)

*Curls up near the Pegasus's body and yawns* "Horsey's gonna... be... okay..." *Passes out due to a wound on his right leg*

Oriale: *Runs over to Rubio* "Oh gods.. He's hurt. We need to get him somewhere safe, now."

Indigo: "I'm relieved you are alright... Where's you're pegasus?" *straightens back and scans the room for the pegasus*

*Brycen looks at the palms of his hands in surprise*

Argon quickly runs over to a chair and tosses it at Zona.
He runs over to Micah, grabs her, says "I'm not leaving without everyone" and runs out.

But before he runs out, he tosses Indigo a vulnerary.
"Here. Use it on the kid. He didn't deserve to get caught up in this."

(I think that's how it's spelled but vulnerary honestly sounds like it would be a vulture carcass or something)

Indigo: "Unless somebody is completely doing nothing, Argon can wait! We need medical help for Rubio! Not to mention Oriale's pegasus!"

Micah: *From distance* "Hey, go on ahead. I have unfinished business. I'll catch up." *Runs back into the room* "Oh wow.. We did a lot of damage."

Micah: "Oh hey, to answer your question, yeah, that was me. I was hurt pretty bad after the attack, and I probably would've died if your clergy didn't step in. So, thanks."
*Looks around for any bandits*
"All right.. The coast is clear.
Look, I never wanted to side with Gelvak. He blackmailed me into joining his 'cause'. But now that he's gone, I think I know what course of action I'm gonna take.
If you plan on taking him and the Bael Marauders out, I'll join you. ..If you'll have me, at least."

Indigo: "Under normal circumstances, I doubt any of us would allow a gang affiliate to join any of us, but considering your private reputation for saving Queen Oriale, and not harming my healers, and now challenging Gelvak's actions even to the ends of blocking his intended attacks.... I believe I can trust you. I would appreciate your assistance in taking The Bael Marauders down."

Argon stealthily follows Micah back to make sure she's safe. Upon hearing the conversation between Micah and Indigo, he begins to think:
"Wait, she went back to...apologize? AND she offered to join them? What's more surprising is that they forgave her and let her join, no questions asked! This certainly isn't the behavior of those deserving death. Now I'm really starting to question the morales of this job..."

"All the more reason to interrogate Gelvak. I best catch up with him and start asking questions...if I can find him, that is..."
With that, Argon runs off to catch up with the gang.

I may still have questions for you, not interogatory, just some questions. I will, of course, return the favor with any reasonable answers."

Micah: "Got it. I'll answer as much as I can. Just know that I don't plan on sticking around long. Once this whole Gelvak mess is over with, I'll take my leave. (Yeah sure)

Oh, and I gotta warn you. Gelvak and his goons aren't a bunch of pushovers. You saw his fight with Brycen. The guy is a good-for-nothing jerk, but you gotta admire his strength at times."

Indigo: "I completely understand. We wouldn't keep you from your plans in life once this is all over, anyway.

Plot summary:
The lords discussed issues about brigands running around, specifically ones in Avia. These brigands were suspected to have attempted to murder the Queen of Avia. They could've succeeded, but one of them stopped the others from completing their mission and left.
After much discussion, a child enters the tower and begins eating all the food. No one knows where he came from or who or where his family is, so now they have another issue on their hands. Many of the other lords disappear, leaving only Indigo, Oriale, Zona, Mariesse and the child behind. Before any questions can be asked, a brigand bursts through the door.
(Continued below).

However, the figure (revealed to be the thief Gelvak) is not alone. He is accompanied by a hooded figure, who is then revealed to be Micah, the thief. The two offer to make this as easy and painless as possible by having the lords give them all their loot without a fight. The lords refuse the offer, and a fight insues. Gelvak summons the rest of his gang (revealed to be a famous gang know as the Bael Marauders), outnumbering the lords by a lot. Just when it begins to look grim for the lords, Indigo's muscular retainer, Brycen, bursts into the fray. But rather than having him fight, Indigo assigns him to take care of the child.

Indigo orders everyone not to kill anyone, but to only disarm them so that they can question them. Somehow, Brycen finds a way to fight while having to watch the child. The child tries to help Brycen to the best of his abilities. Meanwhile, Micah seems hesistant to fight Oriale, so she engages Indigo instead. Zona uses Kurai to freeze up Micah, so that Indigo can easily dispatch Micah, but Indigo tells Zona to stop, since he wants a fair fight. Zona releases Micah, and then she begins to fight Indigo. Indigo tries to question Micah and her intentions, but gets nowhere.

Whoops, forgot the (Continued below).

Meanwhile, a mysterious figure watches the fight from a distance. Seeing how the lords refuse to kill despite the fact that their opponents are going for the kill, he begins to question Gelvak's morales. In the meantime, Gelvak notices that his brigands are losing, so he steps into the fray. He ends up fighting Brycen (and Rubio, the child). Oriale occasionally steps in to help Brycen, pushing Gelvak around with her lance. The watching figure moves in closer and prepares to assist, grabbing a mysterious item from his pocket.

More fighting insues. Brycen gets injured, and then pins Gelvak down. They then get into a fistfight, Gelvak hurling insults at Brycen. Meanwhile, Indigo and Micah take a break from fighting to talk. Zona freezes Gelvak so that he can't move. This gets the watching figure to burst into the fray. He runs up to Oriale, cuts her Pegasus' left wing, and runs over to Gelvak. The figure (whom Micah reveals to be Argon) tosses down several spheres, which explode and create a smokescreen. He calls a tactical retreat, and tries to help Gelvak escape. Seeing this, Zona freezes Argon. Argin then tells the brigands to get Gelvak out of there, but to leave himself behind. Since he's only hired help, he believes that he has no interogatory value.

When the smoke clears, only Argon and Micah are left. Many of the fighters are injured, and require medical attention, but since Mariesse is nowhere to be found, the lords are in a jam. One of the more pressing injuries was Rubio's wound. Micah tries to remedy the situation, but Argon regains mobility, knocks out Zona, and carries Micah off in an attempt to escape without leaving anyone behind. Before leaving, he gives Indigo a vulnerary to treat Rubio's wound.
But it is too late, Rubio has stopped breathing.
Brycen desperately tries to bring him back, giving him CPR using his big ol' thumb...

It looks to be too late...

But it turns out that Rubio was faking. He wasn't dead, but he was still hurt. Oriale's pegasus was also hurt. Meanwhile, Micah escapes from Argon and goes back to try to make up for what had happened. Argon secretly follows to make sure that she is safe. Micah makes it back to the tower, and apologizes for everything that happened. She admits that she didn't want any of this, and is only helping Gelvak because he blackmailed her. She offers to join Indigo and crew (until the fight witn Gelvak is over) and Indigo welcomes her to the team. Overhearing this, Argon begins to heavily question Gelvak's intentions. He runs off in an attempt to catch up with the rest of the gang, but is not sure where they went.

Will the injured make it back to full health? Does Micah have info on the whereabouts of Gelvak and his gang? Will Argon find Gelvak or will he get lost? Will we ever learn where Rubio's family is? Find out next time, on Fire Emblem: Beyond Infinity!
