tell him you're not ready for the real deal yet I'm sure he'll understand and if he doesn't then ditch him cuz if he doesn't respect what you want then he's no good for you

and no no it's not that you shouldn't be able to choose a guy to be with
you just have to choose ONE guy
they were hurt becuz you switched back and forth with them when you just can't do that in a relationship
you have to pick a guy to stick with otherwise both end up being hurt
and yes if you're choosing between two guys then one guy will end up being hurt but they'll get over it and hey you can still be friends with the guy afterwards c:
