Steve Rogers was subject to an experiment to create the nearly perfect human in order to help America in its efforts during World War II. He fought against the Nazi regime which included Hydra. Near the end of the war he was frozen in ice, and was revived in the present day. While Captain America is often seen as a man misplaced in time, he is always positive and set on his own ideals. Captain America also became a long time leader on the Avengers! He has adapted to this present time and is a highly respected member in the community!
