...i have a deviantart now... im greenookie there as well... i also have a skype... but ill only give it to those who are my (close) friends (if you wonder if you fit there... just ask... i hope you arent offended if i say you arent... im not going to soften the blow...) ... i want to stay... but...
i was talking with my dad once and i told him how i wanted to do something that had to do with art or animating whn i go older... he then asked if i wanted a tablet, i said no... he said 'well, when you're drawing when you're older, you won't be using colors, now will you?'...
i... i guess he's right... im sorry... ill try to stay... but... i wont be uploading much... im so so sorry... (oh god i feel like im about to cry...)

I think you may be taking this the wrong way. Your dad is being supportive and he allowing you to become more professional by offering to get you a tablet. He's not saying stop this whole colors thing. You can do both, you know.
He is right that for a career, colors is pretty limited; you definetly want to use something for versitile for when you become a professionial. But colors can be a hobby, or even something to sketch things out in and build on them on a computer.Trust me, colors has a use.
What I'm trying to say is that if colors is something you enjoy, don't leave it.
Do what makes you happy.

As long as you are where you are happy, that's all that matters. It will be nice to see you around even if you won't be on Colors Often.
