Weaknesses: becomes extremely tired and unfocused when exposed to the cold, large target, unable to morph into a smaller/less noticeable form, spider eyes sensitive to sudden light exposure, cannot climb steep surfaces, legs can be severed at the joints, slightly short-tempered, sensitive to insults, coldness towards others leaves with no allies

Backstory (this might be long): Raven was born in the outskirts of Belltoll, Ethos. Although he does not remember the exact date of his birth, he is estimated to have been born eight or nine years before the war. His father left him and his mother while he was very young, so he cannot recall whether he was a spider centaur like himself or not, but he never had the courage to ask. Raven spent most of his time alone or with his mother because the other children in Belltoll avoided him for his intimidating body and arachnidian antics. Even if he was not such a rare and unfortunate species, Raven would never have been able to fit in: he always saw things on a serious level and never took interest in games and play. (cont.)

(cont.) When the war first began, Ethonian troops came to Belltoll seeking provisions, but they found interest in Raven's strange capabilities and attempted to recruit him for the war. Afraid for her son's safety, Raven's mother took him and fled to the Wastelands where they wandered aimlessly. For a while, they managed to survive off of the creatures that they could catch and sources of water that they miraculously discovered, but the quickly-expanding warfield chased them farther west.
One fateful day, during their journey, a viscous monster more terrifying than they had ever encountered blocked their path and attacked them. In his attempts to protect his mother, Raven was badly wounded, so he could only watch as his mother was killed before his very eyes. Raven managed to escape the monster, but not without a permanent scar on his right shoulder to constantly remind him of that day.
Afterwards, he vowed to track down every harm-inflicting wild beast and slaughter them all. (cont.)

(cont.) Over the next five years, Raven hunted down monster after monster while also mastering survival in the Wastelands. Often, he would run into a nearby town, where he would use rare objects that he plundered from beasts to trade for provisions, or slayed the creatures that terrorized them for pay, but he never stayed in any town for long. Very often, Raven faced close encounters with the rage of war as it moved to the Wastelands, and as it gradually grew unavoidable, he was forced to leave. With no other place in Ethos to flee to, Raven came to Escade and boarded a ship destined for Vale.

Roleplay sample: Raven sighed from where he huddled on the deck of the docked ship. The noonday sun beat down upon the city of Escade as the vessel rocked on the Median Sea, and he pulled his cloak tighter around himself to block out the rays.
After having bartered with the ship captain for a ride to Vale in exchange for the rare tusk of a demon-bear, Raven had waited patiently in a quiet corner while awakening old memories from his past.
"Mother, why are people afraid of me?" Raven had asked as he watched Ethonian citizens walk by, frowning when they detoured around him or avoided eye contact.
"They aren't afraid of you," his mother had assured him. "They just think you're a bit different."
Raven gazed up into his mother's eyes. "Mother, are you afraid of me?"
Her expression passionate, she knelt down before him and took him by the shoulders. "Of course not, my son. I love you very much."
"Why do you love me?" Raven asked wistfully. "Is it just because I'm your son?" (cont.)

(cont.) His mother caressed her fingers through his hair. "Raven, I have always loved you. Not because I birthed you, and not because you are your father's son, but because you are Raven Stryker." She embraced him in a tight hug. "It doesn't matter what you look like or what you are - I will always love you, because you are you."
Ever since that moment, Raven had determined to always protect his mother and return the love that she had so freely given. But he had failed when he let her die.
'Never again will I befriend another,' he vowed to himself as he leaned against the gunwale of the ship. Raven couldn't bear to lose another loved one.

Sorry that sample was so long! I tried to include everything that might appear in a roleplay (setting descriptions, conversation, thoughts, flashbacks, etc.), but I promise that my comments won't be as long during the RP!

If he and Fiacail were to hit it off as buds somehow, it'd likely be due to the similarities of their pasts (their mothers were killed, they both have a memento to remember them by, and neither of them have knowledge as to where their fathers are). cx

Oh my, that´s such a great and unique character!
I love Wolf Spiders, they seem swift and powerful hunters and look cool on top of that. I really like this concept, it reminds me of tolkien´s original concept of Shelob. Great work!

Add. Info:
- Wears cloak in public to hide legs
- Blood is purple because it is a mix of haemoglobin blood (human blood; red) and haemocyanin blood (spider blood; dull blue) in order to support both parts of his body.
- Not only is the cold a weakness to him, but he also spent the majority of his lifetime in the desert, thus he naturally hates the cold.
- Meat and water are his only requirements to stay alive and healthy. He can eat bread and vegetation, but they are not necessary.
- His spider eyes can see in the dark but cannot see well in the daytime. Also, once they have adjusted to the darkness, they are highly sensitive to sudden light and could be used against him.
- Will only use knife for combat when extremely necessary: otherwise it is used for cutting materials and the sort.
- Asking if Raven eats insects is asking for a death wish.

And... this is easily one of the most creative OCs I've seen! I always have some trouble drawing ref sheets, I almost always end up cutting off a dragon's tail or wings, or I never leave enough space for anything else XD
