and with the fading grey
dance the memories of the day
between closed eyes
the nightmares drift
at minds edge they stay
and I'll dream onwards
till breaking dawn
the light my path
as the curtains are drawn
weep not for colours forgotten
and lost loves mourned
for tomorrow at evenings close
a new adventure will be born
