So, this is just a little backstory of Howler, but he once had a friend that was a girl. She was named by her parents. They called her "Khali,"
(Kha-eye-li)nwhich is Bengali, & it meant "empty" because they thought she didn't have any true meaning or anything to her & so they were basically calling her nothing, but Howler called her "Laetus" because it meant glad & joyful, and her nickname soon became "Leta" for short.
