this is Daniel Welther! she is the 5'7, genderfluid scientist at Direct Labs, and the partner to Hester Toste. she, is very quiet and has nightmares often. she spends time with the tar creatures she and Hester create(unlike hester who just cages em)
she's made a few creatures but the majority are made by hester, and some of them scare her bc they resemble her nightmares, but she will still try to be there for thm bc each has a personality and are often unstable. (cont)

ok so
she was born in a small town where few lived, and had to move out when the time came and payed for her own education. her parents were very harsh and she has experienced abuse with thm often. they didnt find education important so she had to go out and seek it, and moved out as SOON AS SHE COULD (and took her cat, named Tierney, with her, too)
she isnt good with words and is hard to gain her trust,
hester came to her when she was trying to find a place to live when she left, and let her move in with her. nobody has daniel's trust more than hester does, and she's glad to have her in her life
they live now in a small house in a small town and they have to drive a far distance to get to their work
she brings her cat with her bc tierney enjoys the creatures

in her free time shes usually just playing with the creatures and her cat, watching tv, or spending time with hester
she has breakdowns a lot and talks to her cat when hester's not around for comfort
