This story takes place in a post apocolyptic (sort of steampunk/medieval) world where the earth and plant life has taken over the ancient, once grand cities and towering skyscrapers. The world had begun to rebuild, but is now savaged by war between two major powers, the empire of Ethos, and the Kingdom of Vale. In an attempt to flee the wars our protagonists board a ship headed across the see to Vale. What they do not realise is that a certain ancient artfact is being transported on that ship by a spy to deliver to the good king of Vale. During their voyage, the ship is attacked, and swimming from the wreckage, our survivers emerge on an island . . .

I should state that i am hoping to pick a time on saturday (maaaybe sunday) that will occur weekly unless i post an update to reschedule. If you need to cancel on a saturday, let me know ahead of time, if more than one cancel i will reschedule, otherwise we will continue without it. If you cannot commit to being there weekly then don't join. but feel free to listen in on the story and enjoy.

How to join:
-create a ref, tag it #KjArtifactRef
-Include name, gender, age, strengths, weaknesses, personality, and a bit of background either in the ref description, or the ref picture.
- please also include a short piece of writing to demonstrate your RP style.
-If your chara has 2 forms, please either draw both on one entry, or do seperate ones.

Aaah! I love the clashing eras (steampunk and the Middle Ages) of a post-apocalyptic world!:D This'll be so fun! ^-^ Of course, I'd understand if many others would like to join, but I'd definitely be interested!

I think I have a cool idea for this, but first I'd like to ask some questions:
- Shapeshifters are already the popular choice for characters - how many animal-related entries are you willing to accept?
- Is it okay if my character does not completely fit the mythology/folklore category?
- Do you dislike arachnids?

I'll try to join but it depends on how much time I have. (I just got home from a really long road trip across the US too see familily. :3)
