i was on there a lot! i had a lotta friends on there tbh. tho nowadays i only still talk to obe of them (for various reasons). i made my ocs and stories @ that point in time when i was still learning about....not straightness....they were all super gay, but they were also, awful, garbage people

I changed my username so often, I can't remember most of them ahah. I do remember XRavenCatX and Quadriped (misspelled like that too). I had a lot of edgy owl OCs.

i had a ton before i settled on "lovelyai"! lemme think...there was PinkLemon, something angel, BeforeTheEnd, Darkpanda....lots of 'em! How did these edgy owls look omg...im only picturing emo owls w/ hair dye and scars

how i wish i was anti-hatena dating back then smh.....i always was a little impatient w the animating thing too, i remember a lot of the time i would take parts tht the orig creator did for their flipnote (i would ALWAYS spinoff other flips cos audio lmao) and use them for mine.....eventually i actually gave the creator credit for thos parts but still @---@ and cool fact: i didnt even kno what hetero and gay meant until WAY later in my Flipnote Years, the rest i learned like one/two whole yrs after tht, meanwhile my brother already knew wht pansexual was in like 2013... *--*

i had So Many straight ships and edgy ocs to even count lmao..tho imo my flipnote ocs werent the worst, just super odd looking furries, chaos, and other creatures.........and if uve ever heard of ShinyEevee on flipnote, i was one of thos nerds who totally based their style of of theirs...tho mine was like 200 percent Worse

I used trace parts from like, vocaloid pvs! i tried avoiding tracing other creator's art tho (for the most part). Thats actually neat omg...i learned about gay/lesbian stuff by learning about yaoi and yuri when i was little tbh, ngl

Well, they were based on those Guardian of gahoole books, so they had black armor and stuff! They did have scars too though. /:D They were all tytonidae too, so things like barn owls and sooty owls for maximum evil-look.

all my ships were edgy gay boys! most of my ocs used to be weird human/humanoid boys (which is bizarre to me on the basis that i draw So Many Girls nowadays....) Hatena was a wild time! and yeah i remember SE...i used to have her added on FB. there were so many ppl that imitated her tho? i wonder how that got started!

I didn't even know hatena dating was a thing! I mostly just stayed in my little corner of owls and warrior cats. I didn't animate much either. Mostly just PVs from me (really messy ones too)

Well, it's talking owls and stuff! The barn owls are usually the bad guys, except for the main character Soren and his little sister. They hear of a place called Gahoole where all the warrior/scribe/scientist owls go to fight against the evil ones. He gets captured though and has to escape. It was pretty much my life when I was 10-12

Oh man, that sounds pretty bad. That just shows how sheltered I was on Hatena though, haha

that book sounds fun i think, it certainly sounds like something someone really get into at that age...
it was so bad and embarassing to think about tbh, im sure the people that were super into the whole dating thing like to pretend they werent.....

its good youre honest about that tbh...if it counts for anything i dated someone i met on hatena after it got shut down? we were together for like 8 months and then they stopped talking to me, and ngl i stole one of her ocs because i basically developed him from start to finish even tho she "owned" him
