the closest star is 4.2 light years away - that means if we were traveling at the speed of light it would still take 4 years to get there... the fastest ship man has created would take 280 thousand years to reach the nearest star - and it might not have habital planets. You are talking generations and generations of people on a ship - they are born, live, and die and all they know is the darkness of space out the window. We are stuck here for a long long time... Be as green as you can be for your offsprings, offspring...

well, the more we use electricity (electronics)and the more we use our cars the more Carbon dioxide (CO2) we produce.
