H: Finally, peace and qui- Wait, who is that? The antler boy? *sigh* is there no solitary area around here? *walks over* Good evening. Do you mind if I sit here? Without you nearby?
M: ...? *he looks up from admiring his new braid just made by his sister, who has just run off. Then after a moment, he just shakes his head* ..you can just sit.
H: *she grimaces at his disobedience* Well, I may have made that sounded like a question because I was being polite. I am telling you to leave me be here. Why don't you run along and find that precious little sister of yours? *she grins in both mock, and self satisfaction*
M: *he looks to where his sister ran off, then up at her again* ..can't run. Just sitting. Can't run sittin'.
H: *she grunts in annoyance* Well, if you aren't interested in following her around all day, then maybe you shouldn't be constantly fawning over her like a mother wyvern, and exposing all that weakness to all.
M: *his expression turns slightly sour* ..she's young. I'm the only one she's got, *after a bit of silence and looking back at Ruth, he sighs* ..quite literally.
H: *she scoffs* I assure you, one won't simply die from simply not having any relatives. Though, one may be targeted by enemies of said relative.. Who knows? *she gives a sarcastic shrug*
M: *he strangely enough shrugs and smiles* ...true.
H: *her eyes narrow as she directs her glare at him* True indeed. Of course... the threat doesn't loom over everyone. Solitude is quite a blessing. *she lowers her voice to a mumble* If only I'd be blessed at this moment...
M: ..I don't think it's a blessing. *he just looks down a bit, staying silent even more* ..We survived together.
H: *she stares at him for a moment in bewilderment, then rolls her eyes* Well, some are better off dea.
M: ..If we died, our race would be extinct. *with that, he gets up, easily looming over her and casting quite the shadow*
H: *Her eyes betray her her nervousness, but she grits her teeth, and chuckles* It's not about race... it's about the unfit to survive, and how they cause nothing but a burden on the rest of us. Fate can be antagonizing that way.
M: ..Unfit to survive? Or k!lled for what they have? *he remains so calm, but that sour look has now faded to a neutral one*
H: *she turns away and shrugs* How should I know? I don't control fate. All I can do is wonder why whom has survived, and whom hasn't.
M: ..we have because of each other. *with that, he smiles, and sitting again* ..And I'm proud she trains well.
H: Aughh! *she stomps her foot in aggravation, and shoots him one last glare before storming away*
M: *he tilts his head but shrugs* ...see ya, pretty.
