Ashamed by Doodling_Virus
Erasmus is actually ashamed of his incubus heritage. Ashamed of how constantly hungry, horny, shameless, and how naturally cruel they are. His mother's family blood in him helped battle many of those cravings((his closed third eye, scales and unnaturally thick tail is a hint of what his mother is)) but when he does submit to his incubi blood-he'll get depressed later on.

Don't be fooled by his overflowing confidence. Some of those confidence is from building up after living only a decade with his mother's side of family(remember, his hundreds of years old, a decade is nothing). And the magority of the confidence is only a mask disguised as a wall of protection. His especially ashamed of how flirty he is with anyone and everyone-a natural nature of an incubi/succubi which he cannot control.
He even gets more depressed when others start to stereotype him as a very horny incubi out to get everyone's 'essence'. He would get defensive but it would only make things worse on his side.
However, Erasmus mother's family is very protective of him-they will not hesitate plant a curse on others and the next to success their bloodline if they break his fragile confidence.
