Game Concepts: Homestuck STRIFE by wariotime99
Homestuck STRIFE is pretty much a Homestuck fighting game, mixed with other elements...
It's plays as a behind the back 3rd person game, and the arenas are fairly basic areas.
Local multiplayer is played splitscreen.
One thing this has, is no voice overs, but instead text, like in Homestuck. At the start of every fight, there is a short, personal log between the characters.
Most, to all characters have both alternate costumes, and alternate forms...

For example, Gamzee...
Alternate costumes: Normal, Dream, Godtier.
Alternate forms: Normal, Sober.
Forms, are slightly differing fighting styles, with some different moves.
Story modes:
Arcade mode, is a basic string of fights. Usually, characters, forms and costumes can be unlocked by playing a certain character...
Like...
Dave- Unlocks 'Bro' form for Dirk.
Jade- Unlocks Dream Outfits for all characters (all who have them).
Gamzee- 'Sober' form.
Etc.
Alternate Universe modes:
There are two AU stories, and a challenge mode.
There is one focusing on lots of Strife scenes, and another focusing on more Parkour-ish mechanics.
Strife Story- Undecided
Platforming Story- In this AU, Rose, Dave, Karkat, and Gamzee are stranded on an island, somewhere. The island is filled with temples, ruins, and mystery. You try to solve these mysteries, by exploring the structures and caves.
You play as Dave and Gamzee mostly, but we'll get to that later.

It's discovered that the Temples seem to change in certain ways, depending on if it's Night or Day.
During the day, you play as Dave, due to Karkat and Gamzee being nocturnal, and can't be in the sun for too long. You're given missions by Rose, who wants to figure out all of the mysteries if the Island.
During the Night you play as Gamzee, who has surprisingly good parkour skills. You're given missions by Karkat, who is more focused on getting off the Island.
Dave and Gamzee can run the same path at different times, but there might be a blocked area that is now open, and they way, say, Dave went is now closed.
Later, near the end, Gamzee somehow becomes very sick, but he found both a way to get off the Island, and the last piece of the mystery.
It can only be accessed at Night. Gamzee is sick, Dave can't see in the dark (also shades)...
So, Karkat has to do it.
Eventually, he makes it there, and opens the path for the others.
They leave, heading back for some kind of mainland.

This has AU fights, in two catagories...
Rewrite History
Dream STRIFES
Rewrite History:
This takes a few battles in Homestuck, and goes, 'What if, the other person won?'
For example, Equius VS Sober!Gamzee, with Equius defeating Gamzee.
Dream STRIFES:
These are fights against two characters that didn't happen, but would be awesome if they did. You decide who would win.
Then, there are secret Strifes.
You're given clues on who to pick in regular Strife mode, but they don't straight up tell you.
Like, Dirk VS Equius.
