I also came up with a name for my, Chompi's, and kirstene's crossover AU:

It's not as lame in my head.
I like to imagine Chex is part goat and faints when scared like those internet goats.

LATE REPLY REGARDING KYLO REN'S LIGHT SABER: It's actually because light sabers have a crystal inside them and that's how they produce the "light." Kylo's is cracked, and therefore the energy has a hard time being contained, therefore creating the hand guard thing.
