Saving Grace of the Galaxies by Dynamix
This is Galaxy Grace. Born of the stars as Princess of the Planets, it is her sworn duty to maintain orbit and keep grace and harmony between its celestial bodies. Celestia may raise the Sun, and Luna the moon, but Galaxy keeps Equestria and all the lands beyond it in balance. Without her both Sun and Moon would perish.
Okay, enough dramatics! This is my entry for Xerneas' contest for the Galaxy egg. :3

Galaxy Grace was born of a star collapse far from the Milky Trail Galaxy. She was born alone, and traveled for eons alone, thinking she was the only life in this confusing and never-ending place, until she stumbled across the Milky Trail. There she met two young sisters not unlike herself: alone and barely surviving. Having befriended the young unicorns, she decided to remain and care for them and their world. She created an atmosphere for their earth, as well as the planets beyond it. She lit up a large comet from nearby for their warmth. She placed the stars in the sky to light the darkness. She created animals and trees and variety among the earth to accompany them. And with the sisters by her side, all three took on specific responsibilities for their home. To this day, Galaxy and her companions continue to help and maintain the Milky Trail Galaxy, and all the life that has flourished in it.
