Hybreds are wolf-like serpents having some scales hidden beneath their fur. Not all hybreds have scales, but thick fur protects them in battles as well as cold temperatures which scaled hybreds are very sensitive to. Their mouth can open wide like snakes and claws vary depending on how they obtain food. Wings and a long, scaly tail are common features, although very few lack wings or have stubby, furry, or scaly tails.
