"Liar!" Cinos held her staff up to the young hedgehog's neck. He gulped.
"Stop torturing our new recruit already!" Shadow yelled, dragging Cinos away from the hedgehog.

"New recruit?" Cinos screamed. Her face twisted into "I let you sign Inferno on, but this time I'm making the decision! I say no!" she yelled, getting ready to hit Shadow.

The black armored zinogre raised up his sword in a show that he was the leader. "Cinos, are you forgetting who founded this group?" he asked in a superior tone.

"Sorry, sir." Cinos grumbled.

Shadow walked over to the hedgehog and lifted him up on his feet. "Give me the emerald." he said. The cyan hedgehog handed the oddly blue gem over. Shadow took it and looked at it closely. "Yep, it's the real deal." he said, tucking it away in his armor. "Sorry, Shock. My friend, Cinos has a hedgehog prejudice. Heaven knows why."

Cinos stayed bitterly quiet, eying Shock vigilantly. She couldn't question Shadow's choice though.

He definitely knew how to pick 'em. She found herself attracted Inferno multiple times for his honesty and loyalty, but she couldn't allow herself to get too attached to him due to his being a hedgehog. It was no secret she harboured a hatred for the species, but no-one was ever inclined to ask why. She was much obliged to stay quiet.

"So I guess you should get prepared for your journey." Shock said.
"'Journey'? Sorry, Shad'z I don't think I understand." Cinos sputtered. "We're not-"

"Going on a journey with Shock? No. It'll just be us two." Shadow said. "We're going to be collecting these gems called Chaos Emeralds." he said, presenting the blue gem. "They're scattered all over the world. We need them for reasons I'm not to discuss with anyone. It will be a long journey, you know. It will also be very hard. Capiche?"
"I'm not sure about this." Cinos said, looking down at her boots.

"I'll give you some time to think about it." Shadow said. Cinos nodded.

'Eyyyy, this is really coolio.

I was actually going to make the first part of my comic written, sort of like this, I guess. So I actually came to ask a question then got caught up reading like the dweeb I am.

Do you want your character to be one of the first people in the (new) team?

You'll figure out why "new" by the end of the week.

Anything will fit, honestly. It's not hard to fit in characters to my story since it's just something I'm gonna have fun with. I haven't even written it yet, I just have ideas.
I've only written the very beginning, which takes place in the past so we learn more about how Vincent met everyone.

Alright. Just wanted to know since he's supposed to meet 2 of the members right away.
