last weekend i played sonic adventure 2 and i was like i'ma play the ending and i was streaming it so if you were there you would've heard me sob at the scene where shadow uses up all his strangthand ultimatly falls from space into the earth's atmosphere, if you don't understand why i literally shed tears at this heart crushing moment let me set the scene:
This is it, this is our last chance. Dark and Light must join together to defeat the beast that holds the chaos energy that is pulling the ARK down to the earth. You fight the beast and WIN. The 2 super hedgehogs do a super epic "hell yeah we did it" pose. But you still have to stop the ARK from falling. The 2 rush towards the ark and then Shadow who was made to destroy the earth(keep that in mind) uses every last bit of his power and stops it. YOU DID IT YOU SAVED THE WORLD. But your partner isn't there to celebrate. "Sayonora Shadow... The hedgehog". The game tells you your work is done, rest easy for now heroes.
The game is super glitchy and old now but the end makes it all worth it.
