In case if you're wondering, the difference between a dungeon and an enchanted area is that dungeons are usually enclosed and more like mazes, where as enchanted areas are more open.
Think of it like this:
Dungeon-Pokemon Mystery Dungeon level
Enchanted area- Spyro the Dragon level
