Zubin's species is semi-immortal and can only eat one food to live. Eating or drinking anything else will kill them. Zubin's food is bananas.
He's energetic and quirky, and is very capable of proctecting himself. He has many tropical birds as pets.
He starts out not liking the Halcyon Team because he mistakes Joey for someone else, but befriends the team after meeting Shade, who looks like a friend of his who passed away.

I really love the design and concept of the speces.
Still, eating any other foods will kill them? That's kind of a sad, but pretty unique idea.
