While all characters may appear/disappear at random everytime you restart, Asgore is always missing. Therefore, you cannot complete the game, and are once again forced to restart.
Where oh where did that silly king go?

Game shuts down.
You boot back up, and there's Flowey... Without a face, just a normal Flower.
Nothing happens.
Shut down the game, and restart.
You just wander around Flowey's first area, until you hear something.
"kid... you're still here?"
It's Sans.
"flowey messed up the world huh? well... lets go. there's something in alphys's lab to help us fix this..."

Pacifist activated.
Game closes just before Flowey becomes Asriel.
When you boot it up, the game is reset. Flowey doesn't appear in the ruins to greet you.
