When Jiro fell from the sky to earth, an old couple found Jiro. They took care of him and treated him as if he was their own. When Jiro left them to go to camp, Jiro's elder brother Ichiro killed them months later. He did that becuse he knew Jiro would get revenge. He wanted to kill Jiro to obsorb his power, so he killed the old couple to lure him.
