The creature eventually managed to dislodge the animal hanging from it's hide, and took off in what seemed like a random direction, hollering all the while.
"And don't come back!" Nyra yelled after the creature.
"Hey. You ok?" Niji asked carefully.
Nyra started shaking. "Ya. i'm, i'm fine. That took a lot out of me. It managed to clip the side of my head." She turned to look at Niji, and gasped in shock. Niji carfully reached out and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Yes, i'm Niji." He answered.
