New Year, New Stuff! by Witzke
Hi there everyone! I appologize for not posting a lot this week, I've had trouble getting to the 3DS. I'd like to go over some stuff in this, it's kinda like a little update.
First off, it's a New Year! I hope this new year's going awesome for you guys! But since it's a new year, I want to do some new things! I have a few ideas for new series, one of which I know I want to do that will probably start around late February to early March. I also plan on making the spiritual successor to the questions paintings. And i probably should draw some more fanart ^ ^ But I would also like to know what you guys would like to see me draw, or draw more of. I'd love to know.
Also, I would like to make a new OC. I have some planned ones already, but I want to ask you guys what you think would be a good idea, similar to what I did with Chezpin. (Note, that it doesn't have to be just a Pokemon one [*gasp*], I'm open to trying new things now.)

Perhaps a pokemon OC from a Type you don't yet have, or don't have many of? Or a pokemon you love that doesn't get much art or appreciation on the whole?

I wonder what the new series will be? Is it based on Misoku?
How about a koopa troopa? Maybe named Copper? (Kooper is already a thing, so this was my best shot xD)

Thanks! Things have been prrtty crazy on my end since October, so that's why I haven't been on much. But I have been practicing things like art and animation, and I'm a lot better than I was when my 3DS broke so long ago! I wasn't really playing many games until Christmas, but I got Splatoon AND Mario Maker, so I've been going to town in those. :b

As far as OC ideas go, maybe a quilava, flygon, or piplup? Those are some of my favorites off the top of my head. Do you know what kind of role/personality you want the new OC to have?
Also, I'm interested in seeing what the new series will be!

You didn't make a Gen 2 or 4 starter Pokemon OC...
A gen 2 suggestion could be Cyndaquil and a Gen 4 one could be Chimchar

Scratch the Chimchar thing
Instead I choose Piplup for 2 reasons:
1: I kinda want mine chosen xD
2: I want to see a personality that fits someone like him, maybe somewhat like Chezpin and Peekatchu's personalities mixed together

Wow! You already have some stuff planned for this year! I wanna see what you're gonna do in Febuary. As for me, my ideas are all jummbled. XD
I say you should actually go for a Jolteon or another cool yellow Pokemon. Just a thought though.

I'm trying to stray away from doing that, but I can't make special effects look spiffy yet, so it's a nice substitute style to rely on and isn't a background.
